Take Charge

Ps.84:¹¹ “For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right” [with emphasis]

To do what is right means to be righteous and our righteousness is of God. So if you want the good things from God, you have to be in Christ. You need to align with the righteousness of Christ. As you align, every form of barrenness will come to an end, in Jesus Name. Make Jesus the Lord of your life today.

1Sam.1:²⁷ “I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and he has granted my request”. We have an assurance that God will grant our requests. Over the next two days we are going to be praying, bringing our lives before our Creator. I believe that we will look back at this season and confidently say, I asked the Lord [for the fruit of the womb, or mental fruitfulness, relational fruitfulness, or financial fruitfulness] and He granted me my request.

Fruitfulness is not your idea. You are not to cajole God because fruitfulness is His idea. God designed you to be that way. So we will start by going before our Creator and thanking Him profusely for designing us to be fruitful and giving us the ability to be fruitful. Then ask for God’s mercy over your life. Ask for God’s mercy for every sin committed by you or sins committed by others that are affecting you, causing and enforcing barrenness in your life. Next you are going to declare in alignment with God’s Word, that every force resisting your fruitfulness will be crushed by the power of God’s Word and by the authority in the Name of Jesus.

A certain couple had been married for just two years and had only been intimate for six months in those two years. Even if the man mentally prepares himself for intimacy with his wife all day, as soon as he sets his eyes on her, every sexual desire will just die. In her case, there were spiritual forces claiming her as their bride and those forces stood as a wedge. For some people intercourse still happens but those forces will block fruitfulness. We are going to come against such spiritual forces in the Name of Jesus and destroy their influences over our lives. This may not apply to you but please intercede for others. Say, in Jesus Name, I take authority over every negative spirit present in my life, I bind every negative spiritual influence over me and I cast it out, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Prayer:  Lord Jesus, I declare that You alone are Lord over my life, in Jesus Name. Amen!
