The Formula

1 Cor.3:7 “It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.”

You and I must make it our priority to connect to the heart of our Father and not just focus on getting results alone. The truth is that the formula will deliver results and that is unquestionable. But the question is, is that proceeding from the heart of the Father? So if you are just about the formula, you will get results. But it is for this same reason a lot of “tongue-talking” people are going to hell. People are actually using their spiritual armory to perform witchcraft and it has nothing to do with God. Some Christians are praying for other Christians to fall down and die. Do you think their Father, our Father will be happy? Is that proceeding from His heart? Let pleasing the heart of the Father be your goal at all times.

A harvest is a miracle and to produce an abundant harvest we must know God’s way, His formula and His heart. We are not to focus on working the formula alone but on God’s heart. So what abundant harvest do you want? Is it on your job, is it with souls, is it spiritual growth, is it your finances, is it marital harmony, or is it in your career? If you find the way, you will have it. All you need is to find the way and you will make the miracle happen. So what is the way to abundant harvest?

The way to abundant harvest practically litters the whole Bible from Genesis even to the New Testament. However, in 1 Corinthians chapter 3, Paul was actually solving an issue of carnality in the Corinthian church and even in solving that issue, he revealed this way to abundant harvest. Are you ready for this? 1 Cor.3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” [KJV]. The Voice Translation of this same Scripture reads, “My job was to plant the seed, and Apollos was called to water it. Any growth comes from God” [with emphasis]. The New Living Translation reads, “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow”. This scriptural reference highlights three main components of abundant harvest and they are The Seed, The Soil, and The Right Condition. The formula is: Right Seed + Right Soil + Right conditions = Abundant Harvest!
