Precious Seed II

2 Cor. 9:10 “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness” [NKJV]

Gal.6:7-8 “Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God! harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.” May you not harvest a crop of weeds! Some people are selfish to themselves, not to even talk of their spouses. If you want to know a selfish man, ask his wife.

Some people carry that selfish attitude into their giving to God. How can you give God what a beggar on the streets will not acknowledge as help? Who are you deceiving? God is not mocked!

What you see in your seed is so powerful. I encourage you to walk into your pantry and pick up a seed, any seed and just put it before you. I want you to begin to see that in that seed is a forest, think about it, and meditate on it. If you have a study table, put the seed there, and let it speak to you. Look at it; let God speak to you through it. Take it to the office and spend time thinking over these things. It will change your life. I am sure you know I am not telling you all this because we want money. By the grace of God, I am sharing this with you so that your life can change. I have worked this principle day in – day out, year in – year out.

Even unbelievers work this principle and they get results. Unfortunately, it is only in church that you see people praying and fasting for a harvest when they have not planted a seed. Expecting a harvest when you have not planted a seed is criminal. When God wanted a harvest of sons and daughters, “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” – precious. And all over the world, at least three billion people can access God in the Name of Jesus. That harvest did not happen by chance. So who are we to think that by prayer alone we can bring a harvest? God will rain miracles on us, in Jesus Name. Depending on where you want abundant harvest, make sure the rain meets your seed in the soil. Even God did not violate this principle; so you cannot!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I will plant in response to the leading of Your Spirit. Holy Spirit do the growth work in me that I may reap eternal life, in Jesus Name. Amen!
