Nature. Things. People

Ps.77:13 “O God, your ways are holy.
Is there any god as mighty as you? 14 You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations”.

There are three spheres of miracles. God sometimes does miracles with nature. In the Bible, God caused the earth to open its mouth and swallow up His enemies. The earth will open up its mouth and swallow up all the enemies of your destiny, in Jesus Name. God has fought with wind and with hail. Secondly, God does miracles with inanimate things. Jesus fed five thousand people [please read Matt. 14:13-31].

I know a man of God that was going through a tough period financially. So he went to the Lord and the Holy Spirit said, “Tell your wife to keep dishing food from the pot without looking into it”. For weeks their sustenance came from that pot. But one day, curiosity kicked in and the wife decided to look into the pot and the pot was empty. That day, that source of provision ended. My God, help our women.

Thirdly, Jesus does miracles with people. Lazarus had been in the grave for days and by the time Jesus arrived on the scene, Lazarus had begun to rot. Death is apparently the most impossible thing for any human being to reverse. Jn.11:43 “Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 And the dead man came out…” I do not know the situation you are facing but thank God you are not dead yet. The Lord Himself will call the Lazarus forth and God’s Name will be glorified.

Ps.77: 7Has the Lord rejected me forever? Will he never again be kind to me? 8 Is his unfailing love gone forever?
Have his promises permanently failed?” You may be in this exact place where the Psalmist found himself. Perhaps everyone around you is testifying. However, note that what you focus on becomes magnified. When we focus on our problems they become huge. Ps.77:11 But then I recall all you have done, O Lord…  12 They are constantly in my thoughts.  I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works” [with emphasis]. I pray this “but” that brought a turning point in his life, will start in your life today. It will be the end of confusion and the beginning of direction.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I will keep my eyes fixed on You, my Source, my Defense, my Rock, my Salvation, my miracle working God, in Jesus Name. Amen!
