Heavenward!

Eph.2:14 “For Christ himself has brought peace to us. …he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us” [with emphasis].

I am so confident that until I am raptured, then rapture will not end. A lot of people question my confidence and I turn them back to God’s Word. My confidence is in the truth that Jesus has come to break down the wall of hostility that separated me from God and now I have peace with God.

“What if there is just one tiny bit of sin that you are unaware of?” they ask me. I say, “There is now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus”. They say, “What if you make a mistake, are you not human – how can you be so sure?” The question is who has more at stake? If I do not make heaven, who do you think has more at stake? I am confident in my Saviour; he will ensure that I make it! [Jude 1:24]

That is how I see things and that is how they are because Jesus came to blot out my sins and your sins. We should not be living in fear because we have peace with God. You should not be living in the fear of death. You should have peace with God. So what if one sleeps and does not wake up? Hinge your peace on the God you are going to spend eternity with. The only time you will live in fear is if you do not know where you are going. And if you are not sure, you can be sure today; you can make peace with God today. I get really excited about rapture and the Bible says, “The dead in Christ will rise first”. So even if Jesus tarries, I am still going to be raptured. I am not going to miss rapture for anything.

Heaven is real. When we get to heaven we are going to have three types of surprises. The first surprise will be, “I am here, I made it!” No matter how sure you think you are, heaven is more beautiful than you can ever imagine. When you make it, you will be shocked – it must just be the grace of God. The second surprise will be people you think should not be in heaven. Have you noticed that the fact that you do not like someone does not mean God does not like the person? In fact, God has a way of blessing people you do not like. The third surprise will be the people that would not be in heaven. People that brought others to God with their lips but their own hearts were far from God. It is the heart that God rewards.

Prayer: Thank You Jesus for bringing down the wall of hostility between God and myself. Thank You Jesus for the gift of peace with God, in Jesus Name. Amen!
