Earn Some!

2 Thess. 3:12 “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we appeal to people–no, we command them: Settle down and get to work. Earn your own living” [with emphasis]

When it comes to stepping up financially, there are seven areas in which you have to Step Up in concurrently otherwise you will have a problem stepping up financially. But if you Step Up in these areas, you will inevitably Step Up financially, in Jesus Name. To Step Up financially, the first thing you have to do is Earn Some. Before we go any further, it is important to mention, without any fear of contradiction, that for you to Step Up financially, you have to be grateful for what you already have and for what you already earn.

There are a lot of people that God has actually blessed but they are not grateful. The way it works is that if you are not grateful, no matter how much you earn, you will not have financial freedom. You will always feel you still need more and you will not be able to Step Up financially regardless of how much you earn. While some are yearning to earn two hundred thousand Naira monthly, some others are complaining that the two hundred thousand they are earning is not sufficient. Some people believe that things will only get better with more money. But the truth is that what you earn is more when you are content and grateful. You need to get that into your system.

Many of us are actually earning above, not millions, but billions of people on earth. What you earn is more than what some people have to live on for a whole year. Likewise there are people who earn more than you have to live on for a year, in a month. So no matter how much you earn, it will be less than enough without contentment and gratitude – no matter how much you earn! Mark my words.

But having said that, nothing happens until you earn an income – nothing happens. Until you earn an income you cannot have a house, or eat a meal, or commute, or even get married. People are getting married without an income these days. I really do not know what is going on but you should not get married if you do not have an income. Nothing happens if you do not have an income. God’s command to us is get to work and earn some!

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me to do these things I am being taught so that in my finances I will experience a lifting up, in Jesus Name. Amen!
