Living Witness

Acts1:⁸ “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” [with emphasis]

Jesus is all about proving that He is alive and well. We have heard several testimonies of people that plug in to services in God’s Favourite House online and God delivers amazing results right there in their living rooms. Someone joined one of our communion services online. By faith, he prepared his own communion and partook with his family. And his son that had been really ill was healed instantly. That same power, the power that raised Jesus from the dead will intensify in your life, in Jesus Mighty Name.

Jesus says, “…you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” [with emphasis]. Let me explain what these locations mean with this illustration. If you are a person in business in Lagos for instance, God is going to prosper your business so much. So for you, your immediate location [Lagos] would be your Judea [the southern part of Nigeria]. Then you branch out to Samaria, which may be the north-eastern part of Nigeria. Then you will go to the ends of the world; and so shall it be. Do you receive that today?

When we become mighty and we can deliver results, people will have to listen to us. People will have to listen to our witness about Jesus. Back in the day, I had this boss that used to party a lot. He was a really good person and we were friends and all. I had spoken to him about Jesus many times but he would chase me away. Then one day, I was in his office and he was having a terrible migraine; it was so bad he could hardly speak. When I had finished my business, I offered to pray with him and assured him the migraine will go in Jesus Name. My thoughts were, what does he have to lose? He did not seem to have any other option. This man did not want to hear me talk about Jesus but that day he agreed and we prayed in the Name of Jesus. I walked out of his office and the migraine left him. Today, he is the minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray that, because of the miracles that God will do through your hands in the Name of Jesus, many will come to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Lord, help me not to miss out on opportunities to deliver proof that Jesus is alive and well, in Jesus Name. Amen!
