Not As These

Rom.12:17-19 (MSG) “Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”

In managing difficult people, you need to be aware of the five types you will come across.

#1. Demanding People are dictators and their goal is to run your life. They are very controlling, dominating and intimidating. They try to oppress and bully everyone around them. They make unrealistic demands from everyone.

#2. Dishonest People are like green snake on green grass. They appear to be so blended in with the environment but they are venomous. They have no integrity. They lie to you and lie about you. They promise one thing but deliver another. They will stab you in the back at the slightest provocation and sometimes even without provocation. They make friends with people they know will stab you because sometimes, they do not want to stab you themselves. They will betray you so they cannot be trusted.

#3. Disagreeable People are chronic complainers with a negative attitude. They are grumpy, grouchy, never satisfied, nor content. They love arguing. When things are running smoothly, disagreeable people will ruffle things up. You will not be one of such people, in Jesus Name. Disagreeable people are combustible; so others need to be careful around them because they can explode at any time.

#4. Defensive People are those that while reading this were thinking that cannot be me. Stop being defensive. Defensive people are touchy, thin-skinned, easily offended or hurt. They take offense at whatever you say or do not say. They get angry about something someone else was about to say but never said. They are overly sensitive and highly opinionated.

#5. Demeaning People only feel a sense of worth when they have pulled others down or trampled on them. They are insecure, disrespectful and constantly attacking others. They treat people like dirt and are critical about everything others do.

God helping us we must ensure that we are not any of these five types of difficult people.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, please search me through and through and rid me of every negativity and align me with Christ Jesus, in Jesus Name. Amen!
