Unstoppable

John 1:¹² (KJV) “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”

Before we get into today’s devotion, I want you to find it in your heart to be grateful to God. Just pick a point of gratitude and thank God. It could be the salvation of your soul, or your family, or your spouse, or your children, or your business, or your career, or your nation, or it could be everything. Just find it in your heart to be grateful to God today. Enter into His presence with thanksgiving, declaring His greatness, acknowledging His kindness, His favor, and His unfailing goodness. Our God specializes in doing the impossible and we are grateful. Thank God for not giving you over to the thoughts and imaginations of the hearts of men. God is great and mighty, He can do anything, and no one can question Him. He has chosen to favour us and we are grateful.

Our God is unstoppable; if God, your Father is unstoppable, then as His child you ought to be unstoppable. Everything that has stopped you thus far will give way in Jesus Name. Isa.43:¹⁰ “…There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be. ¹¹ I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. ¹² First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this.  You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the Lord. ¹³ “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” [with emphasis]. It is because of scriptures like this that we have an assurance that our destinies are secured in God because He is unstoppable. Declare it out loud, ‘no one can snatch me out of God’s hands.’

As God has proposed that you will be great, nobody can undo it in the Name of Jesus. As God has proposed that you will fulfill your destiny, so shall it be in Jesus Name. There is an adage in Western Nigeria that says, when the elephant is marching, any grass that tries to stop it will be squashed. Anyone and any force that attempts to resist the fulfillment of your destiny will be crushed. Anyone and any force that attempts to resist the fulfillment of the destiny of God’s Favourite House will be crushed in Jesus Name. God has His own desires for your life. There are things concerning you that God wants to happen and as far as God is concerned, those things are done. So, we cannot be wondering if God has a plan or if He can make things work. You need to know that God already has a plan. God says, “I know the thoughts that I think towards you, in case you are doubting it, they are thoughts of good and not of evil.” God is a master planner.

Prayer: Father, I declare that You are unstoppable and Your plans for my life are completely unstoppable. Let every force that tries to resist You be squashed, in Jesus Name. Amen!
