Big Picture

Isa.43:¹⁰ “…There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be. ¹¹ I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior… ¹³ “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” [with emphasis].

Have you tried playing chess with an eight-year-old? There was this eight-year-old girl that had won chess tournaments for her school. She probably felt like a grand master. One day her mum brought her to my house and we started playing a game of chess. She was very good for her age, but I could see every move she would make even before she makes the move. So, I did my best not to checkmate her first move and I deliberately prolonged the game just to make it interesting. When the game was over, she told her mum that she gave me a tough time. I laughed because there was nothing she could do that I could not see even before she did it. Interestingly, that is how we are with God. There is no plan that we can come up with that will take God by surprise – none! You are not about to checkmate Him, it is not going to happen. I have news for you, the devil is not about to checkmate Him. God is the grandmaster.

God is unstoppable; if He comes up with an attack, nobody can stop Him. If He comes up with a plot, nobody can stop Him. If He comes up with a pattern [like in a chess game], nobody can resist that pattern. God is totally unstoppable and there is absolutely no way to outsmart or out-maneuver God. “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” No demon, no sickness, no power in hell, and no curse [generational or not] can do it; God’s plans are totally unstoppable! Stop worrying if that pronouncement your father or mother made over you is going to stop your destiny. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, it will be broken in this season. For those trusting God concerning their health, guess what? Even your health is going to comply in the Name of Jesus.

Our Father, God, is unstoppable. God has actually designed and set up of the church of Jesus Christ to be unstoppable. Jesus says in Matt.16:¹⁸ “Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” [with emphasis]. Jesus says upon this rock I will build my church and my church will be unstoppable! It is good to be on God’s side, the winning side. If you are on the winning side, when your team wins, you win – you rejoice. You may not even play a single game but when they win, you win. The Voice Translation of Matt.16:¹⁸ reads, “This is why I have called you Peter (rock): for on this rock I will build My church. The church will reign triumphant even at the gates of hell.”

Prayer [song]: No power of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand. Till He returns or calls me home, here in the power of Christ I’ll stand. Amen!
