Matt.7:7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. [with emphasis]

These are the words of Jesus Himself. Jesus did not say for a few that ask will receive. Jesus assures you and I that everyone who asks receives – everyone! Matt.7:8 “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” [with emphasis] Everyone includes you! I pray that as you ask, you will receive. As you seek God’s face, you will find Him, and as you knock, the doors will be opened in Jesus Name. In reading this scripture, I realized that no one put a gun to Jesus’ head, he was not coerced or under duress to make this statement. No one forced Jesus to make this statement. So, I show up before Jesus and jokingly say, “You have to do what you have said you will do.” You can joke with God, He is your Father.

Jesus says concerning fruitfulness, asking and receiving and tying it all up together in John 15:16 “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” In other words, do not think that fruitfulness is your idea, it is God’s idea. Do not think that the answer to what you are asking God for is farfetched, it is God’s idea. Your pursuit for fruitfulness is not an attempt to arm twist God. God says, “…I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” God will answer you in Jesus Mighty Name.

1 Sam.7:10 Just as Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines arrived to attack Israel. But the Lord spoke with a mighty voice of thunder from heaven that day, and the Philistines were thrown into such confusion that the Israelites defeated them.” [with emphasis]. Today, God will speak with a mighty voice of thunder against all the enemies of our destinies and they will be defeated. They will hear God’s thunderous voice and they will be soundly defeated.

1 Sam.7:11 The men of Israel chased them from Mizpah to a place below Beth-car, slaughtering them all along the way.” [with emphasis]. The key thing is this, God did what Israel could not do but the men of Israel still had to chase. There are things God would have you do that He will not do for you. You cannot speak in the supernatural and cause confusion in the enemy’s camp the way God can. He will do it for you. But you have to chase them down and take possession. A lot of people think that after praying, they do not have to lift a finger. God wants us to be responsible; you have to do the chasing!

Prayer: Father, I am confident that You will do your part, so I will do my part and Your Name will be glorified in my fruitfulness, in Jesus Name. Amen!
