Arise
Isa.60:1 (NKJV) “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
Today, you will arise in Jesus Mighty Name. Please read Mark 5:21-42, this would be our anchor text for the next few days and as you engage God in His Word you will arise. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, because of what God will do in your life, people around you will be completely astonished. The Yorubas call God “Onise Iyanu”, meaning The One that does jaw dropping wonders. Indeed, jaws will drop uncontrollably because of the things that God will do in your life and in God’s Favourite House to the glory of God the Father, in Jesus Name.
The story from our text is one a lot of us are familiar with. Jesus was walking in the midst of a crowd and then He suddenly stopped and said, “Somebody touched me!” The disciples were in shock, how could He possibly be asking who touched Him? Mark 5:31 (NIV) “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?” In other words, they were saying, Jesus we know that You are spiritual, but You are in a crowd, people are pushing, and you are saying who touched me? However, the truth is there is a touch and there is a touch. You will come in contact with the touch that will make you rise on your feet in this season, in Jesus Name.
The dictionary defines the word ‘Arise’ in many ways. To arise is to get up; you are going to arise and get up on your feet. In every area where you have been crippled, or grounded, you are going to get up in Jesus Name. To arise is to come into notice. For some, you have been working really hard but the people that need to promote you have not noticed you. As you arise, you will come into notice, in Jesus Mighty Name. For singles, even though there are people around you, the person that needs to marry you has not noticed you. As you arise, you will come into notice in Jesus Mighty Name. Yet for some of us, there are things around us that we have not noticed. You will arise, and those things will come into notice so that you will stop looking externally for solutions that you possess internally, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
To arise is to originate from a source. I pray for you in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that you will originate from the Source of life. Everyone reading this that has a different origination; a different source, or a different stream flowing through their life perhaps by virtue of birth will be reconnected to the Source of life, Jesus. Some have even gone to a different stream that is not of God. God is going to relocate you today, in Jesus Name. Your life will flow from the streams of God the Father in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Prayer: Father, I arise, I shine for the glory of God is risen upon me, in Jesus Name. Amen!
