True Protection

Ecc.4:¹² “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”

A peaceful life is an uncommon life. A prosperous life is an uncommon life. A protected life is an uncommon life. People are desperate for protection. They are seeking financial protection, protection for their children and family, protection for their health, and protection for their lives. Why do  you think people join secret cults? Nobody in their right mind should join a secret cult. But why do people join secret cults? It is simple, they want protection. It is for this same reason that people go to shrines. A protected life is an uncommon life; you have God’s protection, so you are living an uncommon life. However, you must realize that a protected life is an uncommon life. God will hide you in the secret place of His tabernacle, far from the oppression of men in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

When we look closely at how life is structured, we see that danger comes from three main sources – from satan, from man, and from God (believe it or not). Danger can come from satan, that is clear. Danger can obviously come from man, like the Cain and Abel example. It was not the devil that made Cain kill Abel, it was jealousy. Man can just decide to do his fellow man harm without the prompting of the devil. Danger can come from God like when God wants to judge a city like Sodom. God can orchestrate unpleasant things when people deliberately and consistently do what He does not like, refusing to heed His warnings. When you look at the different sources of danger, what I need you to realize is, there is no protection anywhere else. Real protection only comes from God.

We have had people surrender their charms and amulets given to them for protection, to be burned. They realized that real protection comes from God alone. We burned the charms and amulets in the Name of Jesus and the people are still alive, living a protected life. Glory be to God! Someone was telling me that he is in a cult, I laughed and said what he is doing is powerless. He was offended but I explained to him how powerless it is. I said to him, and I am saying to you if you want real power and real protection come to Jesus because with Him alone there is protection. I can tell you several stories where God has demonstrated that He alone is God.
