The New, The Overflow
Luke 5:37-38 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the new wine would burst the wineskins, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine must be stored in new wineskins.”
Get excited because God is taking away ‘The Old’ in order to establish ‘The New’. God is on your side and God is all that you need. For someone today, God Himself is giving you a new name. The Lord God is giving you a new name. Do you receive it? ‘The Old’ is familiar and ‘The New’ is usually unfamiliar. Most people love the familiar, but God is saying, “For you to enter your destiny, you must be comfortable in unfamiliar terrain. For you to fulfil your destiny, you must be comfortable with the unfamiliar.” For you to fulfil your destiny, you must be comfortable with the things that make you uncomfortable. For you to fulfil your destiny you must be at peace and at home with uncertainty. When God brings ‘The New’ and you fully embrace ‘The New’, you will discover that you are missing nothing from ‘The Old’. Ps.126:1-2 (KJV) “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing…”
While I was watching, just staying with the Lord, I saw babies crying. I was alarmed because it is not a good sight. The scene continues maybe three, five hours after and the babies became one. Then I saw the baby was being breastfed and I felt God saying to me, “Every cry of My children is going to be met with My breast.” Every cry of God’s children is going to be met with His supply, in the Name of Jesus. On the other hand, there are going to be a lot of physical babies. Do you receive it? Are you excited? There are going to be New-Streams of Fruitfulness, New-Streams of Abundance, New-Streams of Provision, and New-Streams of Peace in the Mighty Name of Jesus. There are so many things coming at you right now; I want you to release your faith and step into all that God has for you.
God is always prodding us into the overflow. To fully experience the overflow, particularly in your finances, you have to honour the Lord. You have to honour God. Prov.3:9-10 (NASB, emphasis added) “Honor the LORD from your wealth, and from the first fruits of all your produce. So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.” The Bible says, “Honor the LORD from your wealth…”, which means you will be wealthy [say Amen]. I am tired of Christians trying to explain why they should not be wealthy. Some ask, “What about heaven?” What has wealth got to do with not going to heaven? But Jesus said, “the rich entering heaven is like a camel entering into the eye of a needle”. True; but if Jesus had a problem with wealth, it will be inconsistent with the nature of God because God is a God of abundance. Every time God had to meet a need, He goes over and above even when it is not necessary.
Prayer: Father, I receive Your Word and Your promises with gladness because You are totally dependable. I will honour You with the overflow, in Jesus Name. Amen!
