Advantage III

John 14:^{16-18, & 20} “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth… No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. …I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”

The fifth benefit of the Holy Spirit is, The Holy Spirit Gives Life To Our Physical Body. The Holy Spirit does not just give spiritual life, He makes you strong and powerful in your physical body just like Samson. Judges 15:¹⁴ “As Samson arrived at Lehi, the Philistines came shouting in triumph. But the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon Samson, and he snapped the ropes on his arms as if they were burnt strands of flax, and they fell from his wrists.” Samson was anointed; the manifestation of Samson’s anointing was in the physical. When the anointing comes upon him, he became physically strong. God is saying, everything in you that is dying because of the Spirit of life in you, that Spirit will consume death and give life to your physical body.

The sixth benefit is, The Holy Spirit Brings Freedom. 2Cor.3:¹⁷ “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (emphasis added). If the Spirit of the Lord is embraced in your body, in your life, guess what? There will be freedom in your life. If the Spirit of the Lord is welcome in your business, in your home, guess what? There will be freedom. Everywhere you see captivity or bondage, it shows the absence of the Holy Spirit. You need to bring the force of heaven to bear and say, “Father, I bring the presence of the Holy Spirit into this situation.” Compel it and you will see the changes.

The seventh benefit is, The Holy Spirit Reveals The Deep Things Of God To Us. 1Cor.2:¹⁰ “But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” The Holy Spirit is much more effective than Google. There are certain searches that Google cannot help you with, but the Holy Spirit can. You can search and search and get the answer. Everyone would be wondering how but you know that it is the Holy Spirit. There are deep things about your life that the Holy Spirit wants to show to you. I pray that beginning from today, you will begin to receive them, in the Name of Jesus. There are deep things about your life that God does not even want to tell your spouse, He does not even want to tell your Pastor. God wants to reveal deep things to you, and you have to be available.

The eight benefit is, The Holy Spirit Regenerates Us. Titus 3:⁵ “he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.” You cannot change your children, you cannot change your spouse, the only person that can change a person is the Holy Spirit. All you need to do is keep exposing them to the Holy Spirit. Keep exposing your loved ones to the Holy Spirit, keep at it and God will do His work. The ninth benefit is, The Holy Spirit Speaks To Us, In Us And Through Us. Acts 8:²⁹ “The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.” Totally beautiful! I think we all should desire a deep walk with the Holy Spirit.
