Know & Do

Lam.3:40-41 “Let’s take a good look at the way we’re living and reorder our lives under God. Let’s lift our hearts and hands at one and the same time, praying to God in heaven.” (MSG)

God is saying to you and me, Isa.62:7-9 Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth. The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength: “I will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine.  You raised the grain, and you will eat it, praising the Lord. Within the courtyards of the Temple, you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed.” [emphasis added]. God is working, He is up to something in your life. Do not give Him rest. How can a mortal man [who gets tired], give an eternal God [who does not get tired] no rest? It is a mystery, but God has put it in our power to frustrate His rest. Profound! God has chosen to do that, and I will use my own until I see all that I need to see.

So, I say to you today, give the Lord no rest until He completes His work until He makes you the pride of the earth. The Lord has sworn to you by His own strength that He will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine. You raised the grain, you will not eat it sorrowfully, you will eat it praising the Lord. Within the courtyards of God’s Temple, you yourself will drink the wine you have pressed in the Name of Jesus. It is time to effect dominance in the spirit realm. It is time to stand our ground, take and sustain territories. In fact, I have been told to say to you today that the days of losing territories are over. Do you receive it? The days of losing territories are over! You take a step, you secure a space, but before you know it, it has been eroded. Never again in Jesus Name. Prayer is engaging the supernatural and Jesus says three things must be in place when we pray.

Firstly, Jesus says when you pray Believe. Mark 11:24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” He that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. For without faith, it is impossible to please God [Heb.11:6 paraphrased]. Secondly, when you pray Forgive. Mark 11:25But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” [emphasis added]. Forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against. You cannot get ahead by trying to get even.. Some people are not going anywhere, their job is to try to cause trouble for you. Just leave them alone, they are not going where you are going. There is no point doing all you are doing, then you stand praying and unforgiveness is blocking you from heaven’s intervention. Thirdly, when you pray, Say. Luke11:2 He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.” (NIV, emphasis added). When you pray, use your words.

Prayer: Father, I open my heart to You, please purge every offence. I forgive and release those who have hurt me, please heal my heart as I surrender to Your will, in Jesus Name. Amen!
