Right Season

Acts 2:33 “Then God exalted him to his right hand upon the throne of highest honour. And the Father gave him the authority to send the promised Holy Spirit, which is being poured out upon us today…” (TPT).

Eccl.9:11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race…” Since the race is not to the swift, is the Bible saying do not be fast? No, the Bible is saying if you train to be fast, you are the favourite to win the race. “…and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle…” To be strong you are operating in the principle of favour and most of the time you will win. But for you to win all the time, you need something intangible, that will put you in the right place at the right time. That intangible difference that causes greatness will rest upon you today in the Name of Jesus. “…The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skilful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time(emphasis added). Should you read this and decide that you are not going to get an education because after all it is determined by favour?

Of course not. You have to be educated, if you are educated and you execute things with skill, you are more likely to be successful. Being educated is putting a lot of things to work with in God’s hands. God says He will bless the work of your hands, but there is a place that your education will be limited, that your qualifications cannot get you in to. A while back someone testified that after getting a particular job, he found out that the employers require twenty years of experience and a degree in engineering. Guess what? He studied accounting. The truth is when favour comes into the mix, even though your education cannot take you through that door, the favour of The Most High God will take you into the door in the Name of Jesus. Ask Joseph. For you, your time of favour has come.

Rom.8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” You need to settle with God; if you settle with God there is nothing God cannot bring your way. The gap between you and God, you need to bridge [close] it today. Favour will locate you in the Name of Jesus. 2Chro.16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” (KJV, NLT, emphasis added). God is pouring out His oil on us in a special way, loaded with the power of the Holy Spirit, this season. However, the Holy Spirit says to tell you that this outpouring is a jealous one. Meaning that if you have anything else that you are depending on for favour apart from Christ, it is either you get rid of that thing and your life will be totally transformed. Or you hold on to whatever it is: idols, bracelets, charms, and demons will continue to trouble your life. You have a decision to make because you cannot keep both as it is a double-edged sword.

Prayer: Father, my heart is fully committed to You, anoint me afresh, in Jesus Name. Amen!
