Proverbs 18:15 “Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.”

To make the most of your life, to have mental metamorphosis, to enjoy consistent mental health Do Not Believe Everything You THINK. Guard Your Mind Against GARBAGE. Let God Stretch Your IMAGINATION. Renew Your Mind Daily With GOD’S WORD. And Never Stop LEARNING. Growing organizations, growing families, growing businesses, growing relationships, growing partnerships, growing children, and growing families require growing leaders. If you want your organization, business, relationships, family, children, etc. to grow, you have to grow as a leader. Then and only then will you be equipped to grow the people around you.

Proverbs 10:14The wise store up knowledge…” (NIV).  How do we store up knowledge? There are two main ways to acquire and store up knowledge. The first is by Reading and the second is through Relationships. In other words, the books you read and the people you meet are the two main ways of storing up knowledge. While reading is about personal input, the relationship is about communal input. You need the two because your life is going to be determined largely by the books you read and by the people you meet. I know that some people do not like reading. Guess what? There are alternatives, audiobooks, get them and listen to them. You have no excuse, none! I like to read and listen at the same time. Find what works for you and read that book.

I want to challenge you to build a library. Have books that you are accumulating not just to show off, but books that you are putting into your library. Invest in digital media in DVD, build a library. For as long as I can remember, every time I buy a book, I am always thinking about how one day my children will read that book. When I am done reading the book and I am adding it to my library, I am envisioning them reading it. You need to build a family library. Proverbs 18:15Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.” Do you want to succeed? Then you need to love learning, that is what the Word of God says.

Apart from being a friendly and loyal friend, one of the best ways of getting the best out of relationships is by asking the right questions. Most people do not know how to ask questions in relationships. Do you know that some of the people you do life with know things that can change your life? If the thought that just crossed your mind is, I do not have any such friends, that in itself is a problem. You do not know you do because you are not asking the right questions.

Prayer: Father, guide me to the right books and help me recognize the people in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen!
