Sõzõ!

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (NKJV)

One thing I do is, I take God’s Word very personally. I realized a long time ago that it is only God I have. If you realize that it is only God you have, half of your problem is solved. When I realized that it is only God I have, I decided that day to take God very seriously. The second half is, if it is going to be, it is up to me. God is already on my side, if it is going to be, it is up to me. I am the general of my life. So, when I hear God’s Word, I take it very personally. For instance, when God says in Deuteronomy 28:2And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you….” (NKJV). I see it as though I am the only one that God was talking about. And I say it to myself, ‘All these blessings will come upon you, and overtake you in the Name of Jesus.’

I mix it with faith, then I wrestle with it. I am thinking about the Word. I am wrestling with the Word. I am declaring ‘this Word is mine’ repeatedly. Do not listen to anyone that tells you that it does not matter if you prosper financially, because it matters. It matters to God that you prosper financially, and I pray that you will prosper financially in Jesus Name. Guess what? It is part of the wholeness that God is talking about. Sõzõ is a full spectrum to save you and to keep you, so you need to take it personally. God wants you kept, preserved, and delivered from all kinds of peril. He wants to rescue you and set you free. What is holding you bound? God wants to release you, not because He just wants to do it but because He has already done it.

It will be unjust for you to stay bound. You can go to God and say to Him, ‘This is injustice.’  It is not injustice because you are perfect, it is injustice because He is perfect. When it comes to the subject of justice, we get scared and prefer to talk about mercy. But when it comes to the cross, when we come to appropriate the things that the cross has for us, He is faithful and just, not faithful, and merciful. It is injustice to punish sin twice. So, justice has to happen for me and you. He has come to redeem you and restore you. What have you lost in 2023? You will be restored in 2024 in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Even the things you do not know you have lost will be restored. He is faithful and just to keep you safe and sound, to heal and make you whole.

I pray that brokenness will not stop your wholeness, and faithlessness and ignorance will be banished. Whatever area you are trusting God for, take that portion of scripture and stay there. What I am telling you is what I have done, and I still do. Stay there until it breaks because it will.

Prayer: Father, You are faithful and just, therefore the fullness of the benefits of the cross is my portion, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
