Only Jesus!

Philippians 2:^9-10 “Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth” (AMPC)

For anyone reading this today who may be struggling with their faith, the first thing you need to establish is to see beyond reasonable doubt that Jesus actually rose from the dead. In my life journey, there was a time that I needed to question that. So, I embarked on a journey, and God been so gracious and merciful, the journey led me to Christ. The journey led me to the fact that Jesus is alive. If Jesus were not alive, it would mean that your past is not forgiven so you are still in your sins. But thank God we are not in our sins.

If Jesus were not alive, you would have no purpose for living. What are you living for? Do you think life is about having a good job, family, and the good things in life? That is not the fullness of life. People have those things, and they are purposeless. It is only in Christ that those things begin to make sense. It is only in Christ that those things begin to have meaning. If Jesus were not alive, it would mean that there is no home in heaven. And without a home in heaven, we are completely hopeless. But we are not because Jesus is alive and well. Hallelujah!

Aren’t you glad that Jesus is alive? Aren’t you glad that you belong to Him? I am so glad that I belong to Jesus. Buddha is not alive today. I am not even saying he was fake, or he was real. That is not the issue and that is not what I am talking about today. Buddha is not alive today. Mohammed is not alive today and even the Muslims will attest to that. Krishna is not alive today. Moses is not alive today. Moses is dead (please read Deuteronomy 34). Sango is not alive. Obatala is not alive. Oduduwa is not alive. But Jesus is ALIVE!

Philippians 2:^9-11 “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honour and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Therefore, because Jesus paid the price, went to the cross, and was resurrected on the third day. Therefore, God has highly exalted Him because Jesus paid the price, and it is HUGE! When you look, see, and know that it is that same Jesus that paid the price, the Lamb of God that was slain from the foundations of the earth. That same Jesus is your Lord and your Saviour. The One who is worthy, deserving of worship.
