Synergy

Job 36:26-28 “Look, God is greater than we can understand. His years cannot be counted. He draws up the water vapor and then distils it into rain. The rain pours down from the clouds, and everyone benefits.” (KJV).

Our anchor scripture describes the water cycle, and it is a system that God has put in place. Water from the Sea evaporates, then condenses, and returns to the earth as precipitation (rain). The transpiration, the water goes back into the sea, and then the cycle continues. God said to the Jews that as they enter the promised land, they will work the land and eat of the fruit of the land. The Bible records that in Joshua 5:11-12The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain. The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate the produce of Canaan.” The significance of this is that manna represents miracles. You have zero input; it just happens. God sends manna from heaven.

But God wants you to grow up and become more like Him. God wants you to know how to orchestrate abundance. God said to the Jews that in the Promised Land, they would sow and reap, and eat the food of the land. In essence, God was saying they would participate in the orchestration of the abundance. Note that this doesn’t take the place of God because the cycle of the rain is God controlled. But God is saying, unlike manna that just falls and you have no part in it (no input). Where He is taking you, you have to participate in the process. Manna is a miracle, but the rain is a system. God is a God of miracles; however, God want you to understand that He is also a God of systems. You will get more done by systems than you will by miracles. You will achieve much more on earth by systems than you will by miracles.

And that is a challenge for many believers because they want to achieve everything by miracles. Obviously, there is a place for miracles, and we need miracles. But God is also a God of systems, and He wants us to understand that we will achieve much more for Him by putting systems in place. Systems are people-agnostic, sentiment agnostic. Systems don’t discriminate. God wants to partner with us. And that is how interconnected systems work, a synergy of systems. Just like we see in the human body, a synergy of interconnected systems.

Prayer: Father, I am grateful for Your abundant miracles in my life. I receive Your invitation to come into partnership with You and orchestrate abundance, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
