Free From Fear

‘The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?’ Psalm 118:6 [KJV]

If God be for us, we will be free from fear; totally free from the fear of men. A lot of people are trying really hard to please people. As such, they end up living a life of discontentment and disappointment. This is an expression of approval addiction. This is not the way God wants you to live. The only One you need to be concerned about His approval is God. You have to play to the audience of the One. When you have the confidence that your actions are backed up by the Almighty God, you become totally free from the fear of men. Having God on your side also frees you completely from the fear of satan, his demons, his agents (those that have signed-up to push his plan on earth) and his pawns (those that do not even know they are under the influence of satan). When God is on your side, regardless of how many things the enemy attacks you with, he will fail. If God be for you, you will be totally free from the fear of satan. ‘But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world’ 1John4:4. Again God has given us a Name that is above every other name. You have this guarantee that at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow. However, the converse is also the case. If God is not for you, you will not be free from the fear of men or the fear of satan. You will end up having haunted days and nights. You will only be shaken if you have not been walking with God. There is a level that God will take you to, a level of carrying His presence that when you show up, demons will fly. If you are not saved, you are not safe and your life is in danger. Accepting Jesus is the only guarantee of having God on your side. For some people it is the people around you and the presence of God that they carry that has been a cover for you. This will not always suffice. You have to stand by yourself. You must secure God’s presence by yourself, for yourself.

Prayer: Spirit of the Most High God, intensify Your presence with me and around me everywhere I go. Re-sensitize my heart to seek You daily, in Jesus Name.
