You Need To Know I

God also blesses those that don’t agree with us. The fact that God is doing awesome things in your life, and you do not agree with your brother does not mean God will stop doing great things in his life. God will bless the people you disagree with inspite of the fact that you disagree with them. You may be one of those who think that this is totally unfair. Some people think that because we are Christians, we are the ones who are entitled to all the blessings. When God is unboxed, He blesses anybody He chooses to bless. God causes His rain to fall on the just and the unjust. He is God all by Himself. ‘As for Ishmael, I will bless him also, just as you have asked. I will make him extremely fruitful and multiply his descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will be confirmed with Isaac, who will be born to you and Sarah about this time next year’ Gen.17:20-21. This must have really upset Sarah. Why will God not just limit the blessing to only Isaac? Did God not know that the descendants of Ishmael will cause trouble, even till date? Yes, He knew. Did God not know that it was only through Isaac’s that Jesus will come? Of course, He did. Did He not know that except people believe in Jesus, they will go to hell? Of course, He does. So why is He blessing them? He is blessing them because He is God. People disagree with you on certain things and they expect God to stop blessing you. That is just plain bizarre. God is God and He is not a man. God will not enter into your petty quarrels. He is God and He will bless both of you. God is bigger than your opinions and your prejudices. God is more magnanimous than your sentiments. God is God. ‘They were completely amazed. “How can this be?” they exclaimed. “These people are all from Galilee’. You need to be aware that God will bless people you disagree with and God will bless you even if people disagree with you.

Prayer: Father, I pray for a heart like Yours. A heart that will not rejoice when my enemies are in trouble. Rather, a heart that will worship You for who You are at all times, in Jesus Name.
