‘With long life will I satisfy you and show you My salvation’ Psa. 91:16

The fourth secret of the eagle is longevity. Eagles outlive most animals and birds. Eagles can live up to a hundred and twenty years. They outlive a lot of men also. As eagle believers God is saying to you and I, ‘you will fulfill the number of your days’ in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Jesus fulfilled the number of His days. Although He was thirty-three years old, He had completed what God wanted Him to do. However, with us, we will not only fulfill the number of our days but God has said in Psalm 91:16 ‘with long life will I satisfy you and show you My salvation’. Who determines when I am satisfied – it is I. The truth is that the believers that I have known that have gone early chose to leave. Many of them see heaven, hear the music, and just choose to go. It is difficult for you to see heaven and choose any other place. God has promised to satisfy you and I with long life. The eagle lives for a hundred and twenty years. The chicken on the other hand lives for perhaps five to ten years. That is if it has not landed in a pot of stew. That is the problem with the chickens; their lives are always in danger. So even though they are capable of living for up to five to ten years, none of them actually ever gets the opportunity. The life of the sparrow is also always in danger because they are always flocking together. This is why Jesus said in Matthew:6 ‘none of these sparrows falls to the ground and dies without My Father knowing’. This also means that it is in the nature of the sparrow to be shot down. They are always flying in danger zone and cannot go beyond danger zone. Yet you will rise beyond danger zone in the Mighty Name of Jesus. The chicken cannot really fly. If it flies it is usually a short distance and it can rise as high as a short fence. But the eagle rises to the highest of heights, far above things that will easily harm sparrows or chickens. There is only one person who is able to satisfy you with long life and carry you beyond danger zone and that person is Jesus.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I anchor my existence on You afresh today. I decree that the number of my days will be fulfilled by the Lord and I will be satisfied, in Jesus Name.
