Go Now!
Matt.28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (AMP)
Imagine you open your room window one morning and everywhere outside is filled with ice. Then you see four people trying to make it up the icy street, crawling on all fours. They are all progressing steadily, and just as they are approaching the top of the street, one of them gets up too soon. His sudden movement sends him sliding back down the street. All the ground he had gained, lost in an instant. Do not get up too soon. Do not sprout too soon, take your time to grow your roots. Take the territory, be planted, take the roots and Grow. In your life, the time of losing grounds has come to an end in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Luke 13:18-19 “Then Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? How can I illustrate it? It is like a tiny mustard seed that a man planted in a garden; it grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make nests in its branches.” [emphasis added]. The fourth thing you need to do to occupy is you have to Grow.
In fact, your growth will be inevitable if you do the first three things. You have to grow in God, and you must remember that it is stewardship, meaning you will give account. Jesus said in Lu.19:13 “…Occupy till I come.” (KJV). How long should we occupy? How long should you read your Bible? Till you overcome the depression? Till you overcome the rough patch? Some people read their Bible and do confessions until they overcome the problem, then they go to sleep. Jesus says …Occupy till I come. How long should I be faithful and pay my tithe? Till Jesus comes and not just until I get out of debt. Lu.19:13 “…and said to them, ‘Do business with these until I come back.’” (NRSV, emphasis added). Lu.19:13 “…saying, ‘Invest this for me while I am gone.’ [emphasis added]. It is for who? So, the territory we are taking, the planting that is taking place, and the taking root, we are doing it for Jesus. The growth that will come inevitably is also for Jesus. It is all for my king, it is all for your king. It is all for Jesus. So, occupy until He comes.
Lu.19:17 “‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’ [emphasis added]. In other words, Jesus is saying what you do here and now will affect the reward you get when He comes to rule the world physically. His disciples thought Jesus had come to establish the physical Kingdom. Remember, Jesus went to receive a Kingdom. You and I are to occupy and to expand the invisible Kingdom. When Jesus comes back with His Kingdom to rule from Jerusalem, your position in His cabinet will be determined by how you occupy. Some people will get countries, some people will get continents, and some people will get estates. This is just my imagination and not in the Bible. What I am saying is, how we occupy with the invisible Kingdom will determine how we are rewarded in the physical Kingdom when Jesus comes.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the areas of influence You have given to me, help me occupy till You return, in Jesus Name. Amen!
