God’s Truth II

‘So, God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them’ Gen.1:27

You need to understand the truth in the Word of God. The Word of God will set you and your children to the third and fourth generation free! You do not even need to be a theologian; you can discern these things just by studying the anatomy of the human body. God’s plan from the beginning and till date is a male and female pair. I once got into a conversation with a family friend of ours who is a very intelligent medical doctor. I cannot remember how we got to the topic of homosexuals but her opinion was that Christians are narrow minded especially on this topic. So I said let us take a look into nature, have you ever seen a rooster mount rooster or have you seen a male dog mount another male dog? Even animals don’t do it! In fact with lions if another male lion comes into his territory it will be a fierce battle. So what is wrong with human beings that we think we can subject ourselves not even to the level of animals but lower? The very first time the Holy Spirit said to me that someone in the congregation had been exposed to homosexual relationship was at a midweek service and frankly I struggled with it. But He went further to point the person out and so finally I made the call. The person put up his hands and God set him free. If that is how people were made then why would the Creator want to set him free? The truth is that all of us were born into sin [Ps.51:5] but Jesus is here to set us free. Erroneously, the church spends most of its time focusing on some particular vices [homosexuality, fornication, or adultery]. Sin is sin! ‘Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God’ 1 Cor.6:9-10. If you are reading this today and are struggling with homosexuality, Jesus loves you and wants to set you free! Salvation is possible!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, let Your truth cut through the lies of the enemy that I have adopted. Sprinkle clean water on me, rid me of filth and make me clean by Your Spirit. Make me right with God again, in Jesus Name.
