Virtue

‘Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted’ Titus 1:15

There is virtue in remaining a virgin till marriage but some Christian men claim that they have experienced rejection because of this virtue. I am certain that a Christian woman who is totally submitted to God will not have issues with her husband for being a virgin. Again the women who are rejecting you, are they really saved themselves? Check! Once you are truly saved, Jesus Christ becomes the center of your life and you are attracted to purity. In fact, I would have thought that I would be the woman complaining that it is difficult to find men who are virgins. Virginity is a virtue to be treasured and we ought to communicate this to our children. So that they do not grow up not knowing and then the world dictates to them what is acceptable and what is not. I once heard of a man who was saying to his daughter that men do not like virgins anymore so she should find a way to rid herself of that virtue. That is a lie of the devil from the pits of hell. Purity is to be celebrated at all times and this will remain so to the children of God. So if you have a fiancé or a fiancée that has an issue because you are a virgin then that person really is not the one for you. He/she probably is yet to surrender his/her sexuality to Jesus. There are people with large sexual appetite but they have submitted it to Jesus. So brothers, be encouraged because there are a lot of sisters out there that love Christian virgins and want to get married to them. Contrary to what the world says, there are a lot of good Christian single woman out there. Pray in tongues more often for a spouse and the Holy Spirit will connect you to one.

Do not be deceived; sexual harmony in a marriage can only happen by the grace of God and not by sexual skill. Believe me, it is only by the grace of God. Regardless of whether the person is a virgin or not, sexual harmony can only happen by the Holy Spirit. So marrying someone just because you believe they have sexual experience is not the way to go, you might actually end up frustrated most of the time.

Prayer: Father Lord, it is clear that You have all that concerns me in control so please lead me. Help me experience sexual harmony in my marriage, in Jesus Name.
