1 Kings 8:⁵⁸ “May God keep us centered and devoted to him, following the life path he has cleared, watching the signposts, and walking AT THE PACE AND RHYTHMS he laid down for our ancestors.” (MSG, emphasis added).

Ecclesiastes 11:⁶ “Keep on sowing your seed, for you never know which will grow—perhaps it all will.” (LB). And in the New Testament, they all will grow in the Name of Jesus. But because we do not understand the dynamics, we sometimes forget the time dynamics because we are living in a timeline. We are too engrossed with the now, we do not see or completely lose sight of the big picture. We do not understand that firstly, there is always a delay between planting and harvest. A lot of us have sown in your school or in your business. Be patient, your harvest is coming.

We need to remember that there is always a delay between seed time and harvest time. The second thing we need to remember because sometimes we forget is this, you always reap in a different season than you sow even though it is in the same land. You cannot plant on your farm, and go and harvest on your neighbour’s farm. It does not work like that. Where you plant is where your harvest will come, however, in a different season. Sometimes when the season changes to another season, and we are yet to see our harvest, we get confused. We must remember that there is a planting season and a harvest season, even though it is on the same land. You always reap in a different season.

The good news is that you always, always get more than you sow. And God says to us, in Habakkuk 2:³ “At the time I have decided, my words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time, but keep on waiting—it will happen!” (CEV, emphasis added). Very comforting. It is very comforting to know that there is a time that God has decided for that Word that He has given you to come to fruition. And God is assuring you today that at the time He has decided, His Word will surely come true. You can trust what God says about the future. It may take a long time but keep on waiting because it will happen. I do not know what you are waiting for. If it appears to be taking a long time, God is saying to you today, it will happen. That promotion will happen. God’s Word to us today is it will happen, and this can mean many things to many people. It will happen without fail, so hold on to and stay with Jesus.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, God will keep you centred and devoted to Him. He will keep you in pace and rhythm with heaven. Are you far from God? God is offering you His salvation. When God offers us His salvation, we have to grab it. And now is the time to grab it. Now is the time for you to surrender to Jesus.
