Trust God!

Psalm 37:1-2Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.” (KJV, emphasis added).

I don’t know what injustice you think you are facing. I don’t know what you are up against, but Heaven is saying to you, relax because you will laugh last in the Name of Jesus. Guess what? God is also giving you an assurance in Psalm 37:3 Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.” (KJV, emphasis added). You will prosper in this land, and you will be enlarged. You will look around and you will not be able to find the evildoers, because they would have expired. People are sitting on your money because they think you can’t do anything. Don’t worry, very soon you will look back, and you won’t even find them. And your money will be in your account. These declarations are not just to excite you. By the grace of God, these words are going to change your life.

I like stories, and one of the reasons I used to look forward to going to church was the Bible stories they told us. Beginning tomorrow, we are going to look at the stories of five people in the Bible who experienced enlargement. And God is going to use these stories to impact and enlarge our lives in the Name of Jesus. The supernatural is real. There is nothing wrong with science, it is a gift from God. There is nothing wrong with medical science, it is amazing. Some people say that if you had a headache and you used a painkiller to resolve it, then it is not a testimony. Really? When you swallowed the tablet, it did not enter your lungs, and your system did not react. Instead, it worked well with your body. That is a huge testimony.

After church, a mother asked her son, “What did they teach you today?” The boy said, “They told us how Moses parted the Red Sea, and the children of Israel crossed on dry land”. His mom said, “Tell me the story.” The boy said, “The children of Israel were going to the Promise Land God had for them. And these bad guys were chasing them. Then, they got to the Red Sea and God sent battleships with fighter jets. While the fighter jets were attacking the Egyptians, the children of Israel were loaded on the battleships. God took them across the sea with the battleships, and they were saved and rejoiced.” “Is that really what they taught you?”, asked his deeply concerned mom. And the boy said, “Not exactly If I told you what they told us, you won’t believe it. They told us Moses parted the Red Sea, and the people walked across on dry land.”

Our educated minds often struggle to imagine how God will do what He will do. God will do what eyes have not seen, and ears have not heard. You can’t wrap your mind around it, but God will do it anyway. Don’t be like the little boy. If God says He parted the Red Sea, He did!

Prayer: Father, I believe that You will do what You say You will do, in Jesus name. Amen!
