Not In Question
Romans 8:32 “He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all, how will he not also give us everything else along with him?”
Sometimes we say that God may be good to this other person, but God has not been good to me. If we are honest, we sometimes compare ourselves to people and we say, “But Lord, it was You who did XYZ for Person A.” We have now made it a slang that is trending and cool to say. When we look at other people and we say, “God, when?” We kind of put a question mark on the goodness of God because we believe that God has been performing for other people, but He has not been so good to us. By the grace of God, you will never hear me say that. “God, when?” What do you mean? My grandmother would say, “You don’t look at another person’s time to do your work”. When you are asking God, “God, when?”, you are trying to sync up your time with another person’s time. You don’t run your business based on another person’s timing.
God has His own special time for you. Your time is in His hands. And when you come into your own, people who don’t know God would say, “God when?” And you will smile because you know that it is because they don’t know God. If they knew God, they would know that God has a plan for them. They just need to align with Him. This is so powerful. The enemy has been robbing generations of their inheritance and their destinies by sowing this seed. This question mark, Is God Really Good? Are you sure that God is good? You have to be sure without the shadow of doubt that God is good! That was what the devil did, even from the beginning in the story of Adam and Eve.Gen 3:1-2 “…One day he (the serpent) asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”
Adam should have taught his wife not to talk to strangers. Adam should have taught Eve that she wasn’t the one to speak for the family. When the wife begins to speak for the family and the husband is passive, trouble is brewing. Genesis 3:2-3 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, “You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.” God has not made you a mouthpiece for Him. And if you check, God did not say that. However, you could say what she said was correct because if you are not supposed to eat it, why are you touching it? But the point is, she was not the spokesperson, so that opened up a door for the enemy.
Genesis 3:4-5 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
Prayer: Father, forgive me for questioning Your goodness, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
