Actually

Genesis 3:^4-5 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”

In other words, God knows this thing is good for you, but He is keeping it away from you. The enemy was sowing dangerous seeds into Eve’s heart to make her doubt God. Every time you have thoughts that suggest that God has kept things that are good for you away from you, the enemy is setting you up. And I pray that he fails in the Name of Jesus. Every time you see something good, and the enemy says, “But God has not blessed you with it, God has not given it to you, God is restraining you from it. And you begin to question, is God really good? Is God really good to me? Does God really have my best interest at heart? The enemy is setting you up.

Genesis 3:⁶ “The woman was convinced…”. In the Name of Jesus, satan will not convince you, and you will not be convinced about the lies of satan. Don’t bite the bait of putting a question mark on the goodness of God. If you do, you would be treading on the path that the enemy has marked out, which is a part of destruction. And that was what happened to Adam and Eve. We are still in the challenge till today, and that is a problem of sin. Did God really say that you cannot? Is God really good? I have been sent to say to you that GOD IS ACTUALLY GOOD!

Satan made Eve doubt God’s goodness by luring her to believe that God was withholding something good from her.  But if you look at the goodness of God and the faithfulness of God in your life, you can never miss it. That was what Jesus was saying to the disciples. Matthew 6:^9-10 “Don’t you understand even yet? Don’t you remember the 5,000 I fed with five loaves, and the baskets of leftovers you picked up? Or the 4,000 I fed with seven loaves, and the large baskets of leftovers you picked up?” When you lose sight of what God has done and what God is doing, you believe the enemy’s lie that there is something good that God is actually keeping from you. Listen, God will not withhold anything that is good from you! Pastor, that sounds nice, but is it even in the Bible? Yes, it is, and I will show you.

Psalm 84:¹¹ “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” (KJV). God will be a sun and a shield to you. God will give grace and glory for your life. And God will not withhold any good thing from you in the Name of Jesus. Sadly, this lie has been incredibly effective, but you need to confront it with the truth of the Word of God. God is good! Declare it, “God is actually good.”
