Death To Life II

“When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was too bitter to drink… So Moses cried out to the Lord for help, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. Moses threw it into the water, and this made the water good to drink…” Ex.15:23&25.

You need to understand that moving from death to life is not limited only to physical death and physical life. Moving from death to life could be from scarcity to abundance. For some of us, the summation of our financial situation or even our lives has been scarcity. Everything you have had has been scarce. Even when the teachers want to give you grades, they make sure it is scarce. Today, in the Name of Jesus, you are moving from scarcity to abundance.

In 2Kings 7, the nation was under a siege; there was scarcity so bad that mothers were cooking their sons. I am sure mothers cannot even picture cooking their own children. They would rather die. But it got so bad that they cooked their sons to eat and the Word of God came to them. As the Word of God is coming to you today, that by this time tomorrow, you would have moved from scarcity to abundance, in Jesus Name.

Death to life could be from bitterness to sweetness like in the story of Marah [Ex.15:23-25]. The children of Israel got to a place that they thought was an oasis. And because they were thirsty, they rushed to drink the water only to discover that the water was bitter. And this has been some people’s experience with the things that we believe God has promised us. Perhaps you had been looking forward to getting married. As soon as the right person came along, you rushed into it, you drank the water and it was bitter.

For some of us it is in our business; you have the business idea and the funding. You rushed into it and it tasted bitter. For some, the bitterness is in our career or in our health. The same way God turned Marah to sweetened waters, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God will totally turn your Marah to sweetened waters. Mark this date on your calendar. This day, you are going to pivot from death to life. Let today’s date on your calendar carry this label – the day I transitioned from scarcity to abundance. Or the day I transitioned from bitterness to sweetness. Or the day I transitioned from sickness to health.

Prayer: Let all that I am praise God Most High for it has pleased Him to move me from bitterness to sweetness, from sickness to perfect health, from scarcity to abundance, and from death to abundant life, in Jesus Name.
