Barrier to Acceleration: Un-confessed Sin
‘People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy’ Prov.28:13.
To ensure that God’s Word of acceleration manifests in full in your life, it is important to know and deal with every obstacle that attempts to impede your acceleration. With cars, there is the barrier of suspension. When it is lifted, the two front tires of the car become suspended. No matter how hard that car accelerates, there will be no change in position until that barrier is removed. God will deal with and remove every of such barrier in your life in Jesus Name. The first barrier you must allow God remove from your path today is the barrier of un-confessed sin. To prosper is to accelerate and you will accelerate in Jesus Name. However, you need to get rid of un-confessed sins because ‘But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness’ 1john1:9. We confess to God for forgiveness and cleansing. Yet, with certain kinds of sin, the confession process does not end with God. This category of sins must be confessed to God for cleansing and forgiveness and to each other for healing. ‘Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed’ James 5:16a. It is possible to obtain forgiveness and cleansing and still be in pain because the required healing has not occurred. A typical example of this kind of sin is infidelity. A married man commits adultery and cries to God for mercy. God will have mercy, God will forgive and God will cleanse him but that marriage will not be healed until he confesses to his wife. Then the wife in-turn prays for him and then healing occurs. The same process also applies to the woman; ‘The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results’ James 5:16b. There will be a barrier in that relationship which cannot be removed unless confession takes place for healing. The barrier of un-confessed sins must be sorted out in order to enjoy God’s promise of acceleration.
Thought: Who do you need to open-up to today for healing? You cannot afford to allow pride to impede your acceleration.
Prayer: Father, I ask for the grace to confess every un-confessed sin and to forsake sinful habits, in Jesus Name.
