Force

Get A Grip!

This is Paul, the most effective Apostle speaking about his spiritual life. The summary of what Paul is saying is he has no traction in that instance because he cannot do what he wants to do. Is Paul saying that it is impossible? Absolutely not. Read the rest of this entry

Dis-Traction, II

James 1:25 “But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action” (MSG)

 

Yesterday, we established that Dis-Traction is the force that negates traction. Dis-Traction dissipates energy. However, progress (motion) requires traction, and that is why the enemy brings Dis-Tractions to negate traction. Read the rest of this entry
