Re-Tune
“What’s more, I am changing your name. It will no longer be Abram. Instead, you will be called Abraham, for you will be the father of many nations” Gen.17:5
God’s instruction for us in this season is Re-Tune. To tune is to put into proper pitch. The purpose of tuning any instrument is to put it in proper pitch. To tune is also to adjust to a desired frequency. If you are tuning a radio, you are adjusting it to a desired frequency. To re-tune therefore means to put into proper pitch again. To re-tune means to readjust into a desired frequency.
Ambassador
“Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath” Mark 2:28
You cannot ignore certain principles that existed before the Law. The Principle of Tithing is one of such; it existed before the Law. It existed in Eden. The Sabbath Principle
“And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16 [KJV].
Jesus was saying to them, you are telling me that because it is a Sabbath, this woman should not be loosed? Shouldn’t she being a daughter of Abraham be loosed? When you put systems before sympathy, you will miss God. When you put “this is how we do it” before the people God came to do it for, you will miss it. And this was the problem with the Jews. Reference Point
“The Lord then answered him and said… And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame” Luke 13: 15 & 17 [emphasis added]
Everywhere your lifting is being queried, Jesus Himself will answer for you. Everywhere people are querying the choice of you, God Himself will answer every query. And when He answers, all of them will be put to shame [say amen]. Try and have some faith here; God will answer for you and all your enemies will be put to shame, in Jesus Name. “And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him” Luke 13:17 [emphasis added]. Circle Average
“And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God” Lu.13:13 [emphasis added]
You are the average of the three people you spend the most time with. Perhaps on the capacity scale of one to ten, you are a nine. But you keep hanging out with twos, fours and fives. After a while you will be two plus four plus five divided by three [(2 + 4 + 5) ÷ 3]. In other words, even though you are a nine, your output will be a three. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us”. If you are poor, you cannot help anybody. When we were being trained to pastor, one of the things we were taught is, as you climb spiritually, make sure you carry your spouse along. I say spouse because sometimes it is the women that climb faster. In any case, just ensure that you carry your spouse along. Why? The reason is if you crash, you are crashing to the level of the slower climber. Imagine you have climbed to the tenth floor and your spouse is still on the second floor. It is not about the gift; it is about the giver. It is about Jesus. The problem with many people is they want Jesus to solve their problems but they want Him to stay out of their affairs. It is like saying, Jesus come and solve this problem but mind your business. But that is not what God wants. He wants to interfere. He wants to make your life better. He wants to take over your life. “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity” Luke 13:10-11 [KJV]
The woman could not lift herself because of a spirit of infirmity and the scripture says satan bound her. Today you will be loosed and you will loosen things because God says whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in the heaven. So in anyway satan has bound you and you can in no way raise yourself up, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, be loosed!
