Just Don’t
Matt.6:25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?”
The freer the flow of New-Streams in our lives, the easier the race of life becomes. Three main barriers can hinder the flow of New-Streams in our lives. They are three “Ws”; this should also help us remember them easily. Read the rest of this entry
Pathway
2 Tim. 4:7 (NIV) “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
We will kick off today’s devotional with the final thought from yesterday, which is, the race of life is not a competitive event to see who comes first, but an endurance run to see who finishes well. 2 Tim. 4:7 (VOICE)“…I have stayed on course and finished the race…” Read the rest of this entry
All Sufficient
Philip.2:9 “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord…”
Every knee bows to Jesus! Your God is stronger than their god. There is no reason to be afraid. Say to yourself, ‘calm down, there is no reason to be afraid.’ The second reason why you should not be afraid or worry is, God is with us. Our God is not only stronger, But He is also with us. Your King
Isa.7:8-9 “for Syria is no stronger than its capital, Damascus, and Damascus is no stronger than its king, Rezin…Israel is no stronger than its capital, Samaria, and Samaria is no stronger than its king, Pekah son of Remaliah.”
No city, no nation is stronger than its stronghold. The capital is the stronghold. The strong hold is the strongest part of the nation. God is saying, Syria is no stronger than Damascus and guess what. No stronghold is stronger than the leader, than their king. Read the rest of this entry
In Him
Ex.14:15-16 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.
Isa.7:2&4 “The news had come to the royal court of Judah: “Syria is allied with Israel against us!” So the hearts of the king and his people trembled with fear… Tell him to stop worrying…” God told Ahaz to stay calm before telling him how He was going to solve the problem. Just Do it!
Isa.7:3 “Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Take your son Shear-jashub and go out to meet King Ahaz…” (emphasis added).
Everyone that walks with God understands this. Everyone that has a tangible relationship with God understands that every time God asks you to do something that is huge for you, you are about to God see action! You are about to see God do something huge for you. Read the rest of this entry
The Process
Mark 2:22 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”
God is taking you through a process because what he has for you is much bigger than what you can ask or think or imagine. Who you are becoming is far more important to God than what you are desiring. If we will yield, Read the rest of this entry
Team Jesus
John 14:1-2 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?.”
The team you are on matters a lot. Most of the time, the team you are on makes all the difference. As children of God, the team we are on has won already. We are champions already. Read the rest of this entry
Get Perspective!
Ps.73:17 (TPT) “But then one day I was brought into the sanctuaries of God, and in the light of glory, my distorted perspective vanished.”
The Book of Psalms is divided into four sections; the Books of Wisdom, the Books of Thanksgiving, the Royal Psalms, and the Psalms of Lamentation. Of these four sections, interestingly the largest is the Psalms of Lamentation. Read the rest of this entry
Hold On
Ps.105:19 “Until the time came to fulfil his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character.
We are grateful to God for His hand upon us, for dismantling depression, demolishing doubt and for dealing with defeat. Over the next couple of days, by God’s grace, God is going to show us how to overcome discouragement. All these ‘D’s’ are going to crumble in Jesus Name. The truth is that, if discouragement is not handled with care it can lead to defeat. Read the rest of this entry
