Always Audacity!

“Then at last the Lord said to me, ‘You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north. Deu.2:2-3

Principle of The Offensive can only be ignited with audacity. You cannot be on the offensive if you are not courageous. You need courage. Fredrick the Great puts it this way, “L’audace, l’audace, et toujours l’audace” [translation: Audacity, audacity, and always audacity]. You need to put this statement in front of you, see it before you sleep and when you get up before you go out, see it again. “Audacity, audacity, and always audacity”. Circle Check

“And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified GodLu.13:13 [emphasis added]

Maryanne Williamson says, “Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us”. If you are poor, you cannot help anybody. As a church, in God’s Favourite House, there are so many things that God is doing through us for the communities around us. But we cannot do any of these things if we were a poor church. For those of us Read the rest of this entry

Child Of God!

“And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified GodLu.13:13 [emphasis added]

Today, for the purpose of emphasis, we will start by repeating our final thought from yesterday. “We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and…?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God” Maryanne Williamson. Never apologize for standing tall. Some people are consistently wrestling with the question, who am I to be talented, to be anointed, to be beautiful, to be successful, to be wealthy…? Actually, who are you not to be, that is the Read the rest of this entry

Free From Fear

“Sanctify the Lord of hosts Himself; and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread” Isa.8:13 .

For you to fulfill your destiny, you will have to do some things regardless of the fear you feel. Being fearless is not the “absence of fear” but the absence of “the fear” of fear. Over the next few days we are going to be looking at three “fears” that attempt to dislocate or displace us from our Stand and prevent us from Standing Tall as the light of the world.

The first is the fear of people’s opinion. Some people have been prevented from being the best they can be because of Read the rest of this entry

Untouchable!

This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” Josh.1:9

In life, you will have to do many things scared but do not be afraid of fear. A lot of things I have done, I have done afraid but not afraid of fear. One night I was driving back from a prayer meeting with my wife and friends in the car, just having fun. And I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, keep quiet. The conversation continued but I kept quiet. And the next thing I saw was armed robbers stopping cars. The cars before ours had been stopped, I could feel the fear, it was tangible. And the Read the rest of this entry

Inspite Of Fear

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comesProv. 3:25.

For you to fulfill your destiny, you will have to do some things regardless of the fear you feel. Long ago, a friend of mine was consistently failing her final professional exams. What was the problem? She studies hard for her exam but she said that every time she gets afraid, she knows she is going to fail the exam. And that is exactly how it plays out. I told her the Bible says that you have to face the fear and inspite of the fear pass the exams. So I showed her this scripture, “Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes Prov. 3:25. Read the rest of this entry

Most Assuredly

“The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!” Saul finally consented. “All right, go ahead,” he said. “And may the Lord be with you!” 1 Sam.17:37

Our forth response to God’s goodness is we face the future with confidence. God is going to round up this year for you with His goodness. That should give you confidence to face the coming year with the utmost confidence. Some people will devote themselves to complaining and nursing fears about the year that is about to Read the rest of this entry
