Accelerated Greatness and Deliverance

‘The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen’ Isa.60:22

You need to be aware that your greatness is being accelerated even now. Your greatness is being accelerated for God. Even though you will benefit from it but it’s really not about you anymore. God’s plan is to accelerate your greatness such that if you were like a little town previously, you will become a whole nation. You may have just been praying for sustenance because you believe you have enough. God is saying you are going to be Read the rest of this entry

Guard Your Heart

‘Obey my commands and live! Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes’ Prov.7:2

Jesus instructs every Christian to watch and pray. In other words, guard your heart and guard your walk with God. Stay alert so you know how best to engage. This is also true in the face seeming challenges. For every challenge, the number one point of attack is your relationship with God. A number of people are deceived into thinking that the enemy is after their money, job, recently acquired status, or possessions. The truth is that the pressure and fierceness of the Read the rest of this entry

God of The Come-backs

And I will cause hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel. Gen.3:15

If Passion of the Christ were a Nigerian movie there will be a part two titled, The Resurrection. The God we serve is a God of the come-backs, they are His specialty. Look at Adam, satan beguiled Eve and thought he had won. God showed up with a come-back, The Seed of the woman. In other words, God was saying there is already a come-back plan – Jesus is coming. With Joseph it was his brothers; they sold him off to slavery and Read the rest of this entry

Mary

But Mary was keeping within herself all these things (sayings), weighing and pondering them in her heart. Luke 2:19 [AMP]

Not much is said about Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not get to know details about her favourite colour or song. However in her responses to circumstances lies a depth of lessons. This was the woman who was at the beginning of Jesus’ life. She lost Him but gave herself no rest until Read the rest of this entry

Authority Stamp

‘And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing’ Gen12:2

Diverse people introduce themselves differently, very often by the various titles they have acquired. The desire to establish greatness and stamp our authority drives us to seek titles. This is why you find people whose only pleasure and life’s purpose is to become a Chief, a Reverend, an Evangelist or a Bishop so that they can quote that title as an authority stamp. There is a legal Read the rest of this entry

Righteousness, Peace and Joy

‘For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit’. Rom.14:17

Examine your life, is yours a reflection of the Kingdom? Are you living righteously, are you experiencing peace and is there joy in your life, home and career? If not, then the Kingdom of God has not been fully established in your life. Paul says, ‘the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit’. This means the Kingdom of Read the rest of this entry

Tussle

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 2 Cor.10:4

You must understand that for every Word God gives you there is a constant tussle until the Word accomplishes God’s purpose in your life. For you to go to the next level, God will give you a Word, and then men will give you a word. It is almost an eternal battle between what God is saying and what men are saying concerning you. The only way to fulfill your destiny is to overcome this tug of Read the rest of this entry

And God Said: Ask Anything

That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!” 1 Kings 3:5

Solomon loved the Lord and followed all the decrees of his father, David, …The most important of these places of worship was at Gibeon, so the king went there and sacrificed 1,000 burnt offerings. That night the Lord appeared…, and God said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!’ [1 Kings 3:3-5]. And God said and God is still saying ask anything that you want. First comes the Read the rest of this entry

And God Said: Caution

And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed. Num.22:12

And God said and He is still saying caution to those who war against you and God’s purposes for you. While God is speaking to you about your destiny in Christ, He is also warning the enemies of your destiny because no one can curse who God has blessed. God acknowledges that favour attracts envy and attacks so He is cautioning everyone who has chosen to attack you. Be alert, Read the rest of this entry

And God Said: Revelations

‘And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!’ Ex.3:14 [AMP]

And God said and God is still saying revelations. Paul, understanding the need for constant revelations in every Christian’s life, prayed ‘[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him’ Eph. 1:17[AMP]. In other words, that Read the rest of this entry
