The Straight And Narrow I
‘For listen! Hear the cries of the field workers whom you have cheated of their pay. The wages you held back cry out against you. The cries of those who harvest your fields have reached the ears of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies’ James 5:4.
What we have to deal with today applies to all of us really. Is it right to use pirated software, download and watch pirated movies straight off the internet, or buy pirated music discs. Take some time out to think about this as it relates to you and the software you either work with or use leisurely, movies and music that you own.
Moving Forward
‘Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results’ James 5:16.
Disobedience is at the root of every sin. The only way to undo the consequences of disobedience is to obey God and trust Him to make you guiltless. There are some sins that need to be confessed one to another before healing [moving forward] can occur. When you are married, you are responsible to God and to your spouse. Purity

People are quick to quote scripture out of context for their own personal gain. Jesus describes this as ‘skillfully sidestepping God’s law in order to hold on to our own tradition’ [Read Mark 7:1-23]. Honor Her
‘So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband’ Eph.5:33.
A lot of people find themselves in abusive relationships. Even some Christian marriages today are under the yoke of abuse and God will break the back of it today in Jesus Name. Godly women who are being severely beaten up by their husbands are wondering if they should stay in the abusive relationship. Primary Responsibility

Cultures vary from place to place but God has clearly defined the role of the man and the woman within the marriage relationship. Depending on the season in a marriage, responsibilities within the home can be shuffled around. So you are a young couple and your wife has just landed a job that pays her a salary that is four times your combined salaries. And you want to know if it’s acceptable to be a stay at home dad to allow her focus and maintain stability within the home. To Correct And Teach
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right’ 2 Tim.3:16
Today we will continue our discourse on relationships so as to learn what is wrong in our lives and let God’s Word teach us and equip us for good works even amidst our relationships. There are quite a number of Christians who are engaged, not married yet but have begun to sleep with their intended spouses. Some are just doing it, not ignorantly but because it seems everyone is doing it. No One Gets Hurt?

Sadly, the notion that no one gets hurt has set people going off on various tangents and most times it is away from God. A lot of people today, even teenagers, want to know what is wrong with masturbation after all no one gets hurt.
