We continue in our lessons from Habakkuk and John the Baptist; lessons about fine-tuning.

My Station
Ps.46:10 [NIV, emphasis added] “Be still, and know that I am God.”
God speaks to people who take the time to listen. When you still yourself, you are better able to listen and God is able to speak to you. He is able to breathe upon you. When the water is disturbed, it is almost impossible to see the bottom of the swimming pool. But when that same water is still, you can see through clearly.

Make It Happen!

Fine Tuning
Deut.4:29, “If you search for God with all your heart and soul, you will find Him.”

Will You?
Hab.2:3 But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” [emphasis added]

Contend With II

Expressions I
Job 33:14-17 [LB] “God speaks again and again, in dreams, in visions of the night… as they lie on their beds. He opens their ears in times like that, …gives them wisdom and instruction, causing them to change their minds, …keeping them from pride… and from falling into some trap.”
God speaks to us through expressions of the Holy Spirit. The second expression of the Holy Spirit that we will be looking at is Visions. A vision is a picture, still picture or motion picture that God shows you while you are awake. I am not talking about trance. With a vision, you are standing. His Channels VI
Gen.20:3 “But that night God came to Abimelech in a dream and told him, “You are a dead man, for that woman you have taken is already married!”
Channel #7: God speaks through Expressions of the Holy Spirit. God speaks to us through expressions of the Holy Spirit. And this is the one channel. Job 34:29 [MSG] “If God is silent, what’s that to you? If He turns His face away, what can you do about it? But whether silent or hidden, He’s there, ruling,”
It can be really uncomfortable when God is silent. However, it is important that we examine our own lives to ensure we have not done anything that offends Him [Ps.139.24]. When you submit your heart to the Holy Spirit as Psalm 139:23-24 directs, He will set you straight if there is anything that offends Him. His Channels I
Prov.3:6 [MSG] “Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, and everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track.”
When you turn on the radio in your car and tune it, you come across many different stations and many different voices enroute to your desired station. These voices that you hear were not recorded in the radio. Those voices are around you already; your radio just needed to tune in and receive.
