Be Present!

Phillip.2:8 “He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!” (TPT).

To get up and to walk in resurrection power, to be all that we were made to be, to arise and to shine in the brightness that God has made for us, firstly we must know the Living Jesus, that Jesus Christ is alive. Living King

Phil.3:10 “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead…” (emphasis added).

We start today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is that every eyewitness of Jesus’ resurrection held on to their testimony until death. Know Christ

Understand This

Isaiah 40:13-14 “Who is able to advise the Spirit of the Lord? Who knows enough to give him advice or teach him? Has the Lord ever needed anyone’s advice? Does he need instruction about what is good? Did someone teach him what is right or show him the path of justice?

Easter is all about getting up. You may have been down because of perhaps happenings in the world today, or maybe even your personal issues now compounded by world events. This Same Jesus

Done!

John 19:30 “When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

The sixth Words that Jesus spoke on the cross was, “It is finished!”. Our focus today is not on the taste of what was given to Jesus. What is most important for us is that the quality of the water we give does not determine the quality of the river He releases. Read the rest of this entry

The Price

Mark 15:34 “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (NKJV)

Woman

John 19:26-27 “When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, “Woman, here is your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home.” (NRSV)

Above & Beyond
