Best Path
Psalm 107:7 “He showed them the best path; then He led them down the right road until they arrived at an inhabited town.” (The Voice).
With God, It Is Not About The Shortest Route. However, If You Are Facing It, Then You Can Handle It. Yesterday, we learnt that the battle is fiercest when the road is shortest. And if God is taking you through the shortest route, then it means you are ready for the battle ahead. Read the rest of this entry
The Way
Exodus 13:18 “So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. Thus the Israelites left Egypt like an army ready for battle.” (emphasis added)

Grace Elect
Romans 6:15-16 “Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin… or you can choose to obey God…”
Isaiah 30:18 “For this reason the Lord is still waiting to show his favour to you so he can show you his marvellous love. He waits to be gracious to you. He sits on his throne ready to show mercy to you. For Yahweh is the Lord of justice, faithful to keep his promises.

1 John 3:6&9 “No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him… No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” (NIV)

Romans 4:16 “This is the reason that faith is the single source of the promise—so that grace would be offered to all Abraham’s children, those whose lives are defined by the law and those who follow the path of faith charted by Abraham, our common father.” (The Voice, emphasis added)
“…those whose lives are defined by the law…”, what does that tell us? It tells us that even the people who were under the law were living by grace. Read the rest of this entry
Surprises
Romans 4:16 “So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it… if we have faith like Abraham’s…”

Ephesians 2:8 “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.”
The concluding thought from yesterday’s devotional was that every other religion can be summed up in just one word, “Do”. You have to pray five times a day. Read the rest of this entry

1 Corinthians 4:7 “For what makes a distinction between you and someone else? And what do you have that grace has not given you? And if you received it as a gift, why do you boast as though there is something special about you?” (TPT)
If we were to represent grace in a mathematical equation, it would be Grace = Mercy + Favour. Mercy does not give you what you deserve. Read the rest of this entry
Grace Face
John 1:16 “And from the overflow of his fullness we received grace heaped upon more grace!” (TPT).
We will kick off today with our final thoughts from yesterday. Everything in your life is a gift of grace. I want you to stay with this thought for just a little bit longer. Read the rest of this entry
