A Test
“You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say” Ps.17:3
A lot of people have live-in helps, which automatically means they enjoy the luxuries in those homes. If you live in a place where there is uninterrupted power and free water, the help enjoys all that too. He or she can eat whatever he wants to eat and is free to bath three or five times a day. But the day the help begins to forget his or her place in the home, that is the beginning of the end Read the rest of this entry
Remember!
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths” Ps.24:1-2
“As he looked out across the city, he said, ‘Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city as my royal residence to display my majestic splendor.’ “While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven, ‘O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom. You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.” Dan.4:30-32 [emphasis added]. The church in Acts [please read Acts 2:42:47] knew that “…the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses” and that is why they did not grab onto their possessions. The truth is that the more you know this truth personally the more you know God. In fact, the more possessive you are, the less of God you know.
Nebuchadnezzar was intelligent and swift in decision-making. In fact, history has it that Nebuchadnezzar can talk to five people and tell them what they said in their private meeting before meeting with him. Not because he had divination but because he was so smart. But this same Nebuchadnezzar had the audacity to think; I got this “…by my own mighty power”. We tend to think that we are owners when God has repeatedly made it clear to us that we are managers. We tend to think that we are owners when God has consistently made it clear to us, He has not left us with any doubt that we do not own anything. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him” Ps.24:1. “Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful…” Duet.8:18. The truth is that success is blinding but God is saying remember! Remember that God gave you that intelligence, remember God gave you that beauty, remember God gave you that power, and remember God gave you those finances. Remember God gave you everything and do not forget who owns it all. God has given us all things to freely enjoy but we must never forget that it all belongs to Him. That is why the Bible says it is better to go to a funeral house than a house of celebration [Ecc.7:2], because in a funeral house you are instructed that nobody takes anything away from this earth.
Prayer [song]: My heart, my mind, my soul belongs to You. My love, my life it all belongs to You. Belongs to you… The songs we sing they all belong to You. The air we breathe it all belongs to You… Belongs to you… Amen!
Proven Word
‘It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it’ Isa.55:11.
God’s Word will produce fruit in your life. The Word of the Lord will enforce fruitfulness in your life today in Jesus Name. This is God’s Word! The enemy tries to resist people particularly in the area of fruitfulness. Yes we can start with physical fruitfulness, that is, children. But beyond that, some people are mentally barren and as a result they do not have ideas. They are mentally unfruitful. Some people are emotionally barren Read the rest of this entry
Prosperity Test I
‘He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’ Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods’ Luke 12:17-18.
Every time you get an increase or a breakthrough and you are wondering what to do with it, be sure heaven is also wondering what you would do with it. That is the prosperity test. And like every other test, people can either fail or pass the prosperity test. The man in Luke 12:16-19 shows us clearly how to fail the test. Failing the prosperity test is simple – believe that ‘the more’ is always for you. To fail the test I believe that Read the rest of this entry
