No More Delay!

Num.14:28 “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just what you have spoken in My hearing I will most certainly do to you” (AMP)

God has made you and I kings and priests to Him and where the word of a king is there is power. If you look at the illustration in today’s devotional, box A is your rights, and box B is your reality. Eph.1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (KJV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

John 6:15 “When Jesus saw that they were ready to force him to be their king, he slipped away into the hills by himself.” (emphasis added).

As parents, we must understand the importance of growing strong roots so that we can model it for and teach it to our children. I shared with you yesterday how the host of a podcast I was listening to was expressing sincere shock at the number of people in their twenties and thirties that want to be Read the rest of this entry

Classroom

Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can be trusted with much…”

God wants us to work; work is God’s idea and work is a tool He uses to supply our needs. The third reason why God wants us to work is because work develops our character. God uses work as a testing ground for us. Read the rest of this entry

God’s Elect

Jer. 1:10 (VOICE) “This very day I appointed you to speak with My authority over nations and kingdoms. Your word—My word—will have the power to uproot and stamp out; it will destroy and upend. And then your word—My word—will rebuild and plant anew”

Moses was the man that went to the mountain top and saw God face to face and when he came down people could not even look at him. Moses was the man that got the Ten Commandments directly from God. Moses was the person that lifted up his rod and the Red Sea parted. Moses was the one that brought frogs upon Egypt and many other plagues. Read the rest of this entry

Special Ability VII

Acts 2:46-47 “They continued to WORSHIP TOGETHER in the TEMPLE COURTS… PRAISING God and ENJOYING the favor of all the people.” [with emphasis]

The early Christians met in a place called Solomon’s porch, a place so big it could take a hundred thousand people standing. There were no seats in the church and they were having service every day. Read the rest of this entry

Called vs. Chosen

2Pet.1:10 [KJV, emphasis added] “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall

What this Scripture is pointing out is that your calling is not sure. It is on shaky ground. The fact that God has a destiny for you does not mean you will fulfill it. I know that this is not popular devotional content and I know it is tough to take in. But if you can open your heart to what God is saying in this season, your life will change drastically.

You are favored but are you worthy? It is possible to be favoured and unworthy. So how do you make your calling sure? Simple; you Read the rest of this entry

Value-Eternal!

“God is ready to overwhelm you with more blessings than you could ever imagine so that you’ll always be taken care of in every way and you’ll have more than enough to share” 2Cor.9:8 [VOICE].

There are only two things of eternal value on earth. Number one, the Word of God. Number two, the souls of men. Everything else on this earth will go. So if I cannot invest in the Word of God, if I cannot invest in the souls of men then I am not investing in eternity. If I cannot invest in taking care of people, in helping people that are poor, in just putting smiles on other people’s faces, if I cannot Read the rest of this entry

Understanding Stewardship

“God is ready to overwhelm you with more blessings than you could ever imagine so that you’ll always be taken care of in every way and you’ll have more than enough to share” 2Cor.9:8 [VOICE].

I want you to just stop and just receive it. God is ready to overwhelm you! He is ready to overwhelm us with more blessings than we could ever imagine for two reasons. The first reason is so that He will take care of your every need. Yes, God cares about your every need and He wants you to be taken care of in every way. But the problem with many of us is that after God has supplied all our Read the rest of this entry

A Test

“You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say” Ps.17:3

A lot of people have live-in helps, which automatically means they enjoy the luxuries in those homes. If you live in a place where there is uninterrupted power and free water, the help enjoys all that too. He or she can eat whatever he wants to eat and is free to bath three or five times a day. But the day the help begins to forget his or her place in the home, that is the beginning of the end Read the rest of this entry

Remember!

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths” Ps.24:1-2

As he looked out across the city, he said, ‘Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city as my royal residence to display my majestic splendor.’  “While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven, ‘O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom. You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.Dan.4:30-32 [emphasis added]. The church in Acts [please read Acts 2:42:47] knew that “…the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses and that is why they did not grab onto their possessions. The truth is that the more you know this truth personally the more you know God. In fact, the more possessive you are, the less of God you know.

Nebuchadnezzar was intelligent and swift in decision-making. In fact, history has it that Nebuchadnezzar can talk to five people and tell them what they said in their private meeting before meeting with him. Not because he had divination but because he was so smart. But this same Nebuchadnezzar had the audacity to think; I got this “…by my own mighty power”. We tend to think that we are owners when God has repeatedly made it clear to us that we are managers. We tend to think that we are owners when God has consistently made it clear to us, He has not left us with any doubt that we do not own anything. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to himPs.24:1. “Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful…” Duet.8:18. The truth is that success is blinding but God is saying remember! Remember that God gave you that intelligence, remember God gave you that beauty, remember God gave you that power, and remember God gave you those finances. Remember God gave you everything and do not forget who owns it all. God has given us all things to freely enjoy but we must never forget that it all belongs to Him. That is why the Bible says it is better to go to a funeral house than a house of celebration [Ecc.7:2], because in a funeral house you are instructed that nobody takes anything away from this earth.

Prayer [song]: My heart, my mind, my soul belongs to You. My love, my life it all belongs to You. Belongs to you… The songs we sing they all belong to You. The air we breathe it all belongs to You… Belongs to you… Amen!
