Personalize Him

‘The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety’ Ps.18:2

God does not just want to be the Alpha and Omega to you, He desires to be your Alpha and Omega. It is impossible to have God to yourself alone but you can choose to personalize your every interaction with Him. Personalize His Word, personalize His praise and worship. Paul admonishes us to look for every opportunity to sing to God from our heart. Do not just call Him God, call Read the rest of this entry

Unbroken Link

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Matt.27:36

What must I do to put my relationship with God intact? ‘Jesus replied, you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the

Purpose in Pain

Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock’. Matt.7:25

The pain you experience, God has allowed it for a purpose. However, many of us get too engrossed in the pain and allow it to make us bitter whereas God is saying ‘the pain is supposed to draw you closer to Me’. God is set to use the pain for your good and reveal a dimension of Him that you have been hearing

The Womb of Adversity

‘God replied to Moses, I Am Who I Am. Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you’. Ex.3:14

When you examine the revelations of God throughout scripture, a lot of these revelations were birthed in the womb of adversity. Every Christian encounters adversity at one point or the other of his/her work with God, as did the prophets in the bible, which births a new or deeper revelation of God in us. You

Propagating the Kingdom

He said to them “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Mark.16:15 (NASB)

God uses the vehicle of the church to spread the Good News. The church is not a house; a lot of us believe that the church is the place of worship. The truth is that we are the church and we meet in a building. The church is not an organization, it is an organism. God will use you and I to propagate the Kingdom. You must evaluate the people around you to see who those close to Read the rest of this entry

God’s Kingdom

Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in Heaven, so in earth’Luke11:2b [NLT]

The Good News is about the Kingdom [Matt.4:23]. Jesus came to preach the Good News and establish God’s Kingdom in the hearts of men here on earth. When Jesus sent out the disciples, He told them to go and preach the Kingdom of God to everyone. The word Kingdom is derived from two words, King and Domain. The word Kingdom implies that there is a King and that King has an Read the rest of this entry

The Door

And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven’ Matt.16:19a.

A door symbolizes access on one hand and control on the other hand. If God wants you to open a door, it is safe to assume you have the keys to the door. In actual fact, God will not ask you to open a door that He has not first given you the keys to. God says ‘And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you Read the rest of this entry

Repentance

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Psalm 51:1

I encourage you to read the entire Psalm 51; it is a comprehensive lesson on repentance God’s way. When it comes to sin and repentance, God expects us to respond in three ways. Firstly, we must see that there is a problem. ‘Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love…’ Ps.51:1a. David in his heart accepted that there was a problem and so he sought God for mercy and Read the rest of this entry

Tussle

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 2 Cor.10:4

You must understand that for every Word God gives you there is a constant tussle until the Word accomplishes God’s purpose in your life. For you to go to the next level, God will give you a Word, and then men will give you a word. It is almost an eternal battle between what God is saying and what men are saying concerning you. The only way to fulfill your destiny is to overcome this tug of Read the rest of this entry

And God Said: Revelations

‘And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!’ Ex.3:14 [AMP]

And God said and God is still saying revelations. Paul, understanding the need for constant revelations in every Christian’s life, prayed ‘[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him’ Eph. 1:17[AMP]. In other words, that Read the rest of this entry
