Time Margin
‘For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak’ Ecc.3:1 &7.
How do you create margin with time? Everybody has twenty-four hours but not everybody has the same level of energy at every time in a day. So rather than managing your time so tightly, why don’t you manage your energy. Do the most important things when you have your highest energy and you will see how much ground you will cover. Manage your energy. Some of us are morning people; we are at our energy peak Read the rest of this entry
Creating Margin
‘In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has’ Prov. 21:20.
You give more by creating margin and the way to create margin is to earn more and spend less. We gave an illustration using the scale some days ago. Using that same illustration, imagine on scale one to ten, your earning and spending is at level five. Then you attend a power packed, heaven-rending service like the God Will Do It Again service and God opens the door and you breakthrough. You move from level five earning to Read the rest of this entry
Prosperity Test III
‘They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life’ 1 Tim 6:18-19.
‘He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’ Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods. 19 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’ Luke 12:17-19. The fool thinks by storing up his money he will be Read the rest of this entry
Prosperity Test II
“Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God” Luke 12:21
Caution! How you respond determines how heaven responds. How that man, Scripture describes him as the ‘rich fool’ responded determined how God responded. “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’ Luke 12:20. When you get that windfall – it is a test. When you get that promotion – it is a test. God is testing you. And I am praying that you will pass the test in Read the rest of this entry
Prosperity Test I
‘He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’ Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods’ Luke 12:17-18.
Every time you get an increase or a breakthrough and you are wondering what to do with it, be sure heaven is also wondering what you would do with it. That is the prosperity test. And like every other test, people can either fail or pass the prosperity test. The man in Luke 12:16-19 shows us clearly how to fail the test. Failing the prosperity test is simple – believe that ‘the more’ is always for you. To fail the test I believe that Read the rest of this entry
Heavens Appraisal
“And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? Luke 16:11
If at the end of this month, God gives you your annual income along with your regular monthly take home pay, what will you do with it? Calculate it and think!
You need to embrace the truth of the Word of God as is. God says Jesus became poor so that you through His poverty can become rich. To become rich in God, you have to come through the poverty of Jesus. What Read the rest of this entry
The Gospel
‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised’ Luke 4:18 [KJV]
A colleague of mine said that in Nigerian churches there is too much warfare. They are constantly praying against the devil. Everything is fall down and die. Everything cannot be falling down and dying. If every thing is to fall down and die, then all of us will not be here today. While there is nothing necessarily wrong with praying violently, but there is an abuse of it. My colleague was insisting that in the United Kingdom, they never had to pray like that. And I said the demons we are facing here are different from the ones in the Read the rest of this entry
Know The Truth
‘Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth’ 3 John 1:2 [KJV]
You are rich! Some people have a problem with Christians prospering, have you noticed? People criticize Christians for prospering, saying all sorts of things because of the abuse in the church and rightly so. The truth is, everything that God has blessed man with, man has abused. God saw Adam in the garden and said it is not good that man should be alone; I will give him a wife [a help meet]. And men continue today to Read the rest of this entry
Follow His Lead
‘The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage. Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” Acts 8:29-30.
The second way to learn to give more, apart from being deliberate, is to go with the Holy Spirit. Whatever He says for you to do, do it! It is the Holy Spirit that knows the things that your heart has begun to or beginning to worship and He can tell you to give it away because He is a jealous God. Obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I am praying that in God’s Favourite House it will be known that if you go there you will find God and your life will change. That people will say that you can just go into God’s Favourite house with Read the rest of this entry
More and More
‘Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others’ 1Tim.6:18.
I will intentionally give more and more and more. When you come to see me in the office, I am usually dressed simply, T-Shirt and jeans. When God blesses me with lets say three hundred and fifty million dollars [say Amen], you will still see me dressed in my jeans and T-shirt at the office. I am not going to now begin to wear Armani suits to the office. I deliberately will try to maintain my level of living so that I can Read the rest of this entry
