A Powerful Force

‘A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense.’ Prov.12:11.

The word for you today is, dare to dream again. Dream here does not mean wishful thinking because God expects you to take that dream and work it. Dream here does not mean building castles in the sky. I am talking about ideas that heaven will drop in your heart beginning from today. The ones heaven has dropped, heaven will rekindle in Jesus Name. So when a dream becomes a vision, it becomes powerful.

Wake Up!

“One time during the mating season, I had a dream and saw that the male goats mating with the females were streaked, speckled, and spotted’ Gen.31:10

A dream is a mental picture of what could be. For some it could be the possibility of a happy, harmonious, and joy filled marriage. That is a dream, something that could be. For some it could be the possibility of being wealthy and not having to beg. For some others, it could be more specific, the possibility of charging mobile phones without cables connected to anything – wireless charging. Dreams could be a still picture or a motion Read the rest of this entry

Dare To Dream!

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert’ Isa. 43:19 [KJV]

God expects us to see the things He wants to do before He does them. A boy goes to his father with the request for a smart phone. And one day, the father calls the boy and says ‘Behold your smart phone, can you not see it?’ The child, while probably wondering if his father is sane says, ‘Dad I cannot see any smart phone; buy the smart phone and I will see it’. This is very similar to the way God deals with us but sadly a lot of us are responding like the boy. God is saying to you, ‘see the new thing I want to do. I will make a way in the wilderness but I need you to see it first’. It is like an instruction for us to see it. It is as if we have the capacity to see it. It is as if He is giving us the capacity to see this new thing He wants to do. And we are wondering, God I can’t see it. God is saying ‘behold, I am doing this new thing; I want you to see it. You have to accept you can see it first’. God is saying, ‘dare to dream’. It is not enough to be favoured; it is not enough to have dreams. Favour opens doors for dreams to come to fruition. If you are favoured and you don’t have a dream, it is like filling your car with fuel but having no direction, nowhere to drive the car to. Favour is what brings our dreams to reality because it is not by power or might.
What exactly is a dream? Dream here does not necessarily refer to when you sleep and you have a dream. If you are one of those who do not dream when you sleep then please note that this does not mean you do not have a dream. Even though you do not dream when you sleep, you should still have a dream. For those who sleep and see masquerades in their dream and are wondering if that is their dream. That is not your dream. If you have been seeing masquerades, today it will come to an end, in Jesus Name. So what you see in your sleep is not necessarily the dream we are referring to even though it can be a part of it also. You know God can give you a dream in that state of being asleep [Joel 2:28]. Even though some people say if God needs to knock you down to show you a dream, it means you are an old man. You should be awake and see the dream – the vision clearly. A dream is a mental picture of what could be.

Game Changer

‘“These patriarchs were jealous of their brother Joseph, and they sold him to be a slave in Egypt. But God was with himActs 7:9.

Joseph was hated for being favoured. To compound Joseph’s problem, he was a favoured dreamer. If you are favoured, you will attract attacks. If you are a dreamer, you will attract attacks. Now combine both, a favoured dreamer – double jeopardy! So Joseph was doubly hated. ‘One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than everGen.37:5. The first level of hatred his brothers had for him was for the favour. The second Read the rest of this entry

All Consuming Passion

‘The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him…’ 2Chr.16:9

I like to be very dramatic with my adoration of Jesus. I believe that God delights in my larger than life actions. He will say to the angels, ‘As soon as he wakes up, watch what he is going to do. And as soon as I wake up, I just somersault from my bed, fall face down on the ground and I say “Kaaabiesi o!” [a Yoruba word meaning unquestionable]. The first time I started doing it, I was going to roll and fall off the bed. But my wife noticed and she caught me. I said ‘wait’, so I Read the rest of this entry

Seeking God

‘The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name ’Ps. 91:14.

The second thing you need to know about attracting God’s favour is that it is for those that are hungry for it. God said to Moses, I ‘will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy’. And Moses said start with me. And it occurred to me that it appears that it is people that ask that receive. It is people that go to God and place a demand for it that God releases to. So Moses said, God here I am [Ex.34:8-9]. I pray to God like this Read the rest of this entry

Understanding Favour

For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightlyPs.84:11 KJV

You need to celebrate favour because envy insulates you from God’s favour. Envy builds a shield around you so even if your time for favour comes, guess what happens, the shield of envy repels it. That will not be your portion in Jesus Name. You need to rid your heart totally of envy. There is nothing anybody has that I am envious of – nothing. And I do that deliberately because if I really need anything, God says He will not withhold anything good from them that fear Read the rest of this entry

The Truth About Favour

A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for a time of adversityProv.17:17 [NIV]

The reality of favour is that favour attracts attacks. ‘A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversityProv.17:17 [NIV]. Joseph’s bothers that were born for adversity hated him. Meaning Joseph was practically hopeless. Many times we wonder that if it is true we are favoured, then how come we are struggling here and there? The truth is that sometimes it is really because you are favoured that is why you are struggling. Look at Job; he was just on Read the rest of this entry

Get Comfortable

Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children because Joseph had been born to him in his old age. So one day Jacob had a special gift made for Joseph—a beautiful robe’ Gen.37:3.

God’s word to us this morning is ‘Dare to dream again’. For some of us this word translates to ‘dare to dream at all’. But for some of us it is ‘dare to dream again’. ‘Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children because Joseph had been born to him in his old age… But his brothers hated Joseph because their father loved him more than the rest of them. They couldn’t say a kind word to him.Gen.37:3-4. His brothers hated him so much they could not say a kind word to him. What Read the rest of this entry

Stay On The Wheel!

So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over’ Jer.18:3-4.

Let’s go back to the beginning but this time, let’s see what would have happened if things played out differently. The angels were marveling at God just speaking the words and the earth taking shape at His word. ‘Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like usGen.1:26. And at this point, the Almighty God bends down, takes dust, and begins to form it. And all the angels begin to speak at once in total amazement. ‘What is He doing? He has been calling forth everything but why is He picking up dust? He is going to get His hands dirty!’ But God is focused on the dust in the palm of His hands, Read the rest of this entry
