Psalm 145:16 “When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.”

For every sacrifice that you make for God, it is the hunger behind your sacrifice that God receives. When we bring offerings to God and we say, accept us and accept our offerings. It is the sacrifice that rises up to heaven, the notes stay here, have you noticed? Read the rest of this entry

Psalm 42:1-2 “As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him?”

One thing heaven can never ignore is a hungry soul. Remember the woman with the issue of blood? She was hungry for her healing. The other people wanted an appointment with Jesus or wanted Jesus to go to their house, that was their business. Afterall, they have enough clout to make it happen. Read the rest of this entry

Psalm 107:9 “For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”

John 7:38Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” I want to challenge you, even if you do not think you are thirsty, to begin to thirst for all that God wants to do in your life. Read the rest of this entry

Come Thirsty

Revelations 22:17 “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.”

God is not limited by time. He is not limited by space. He is not constrained to seasons. God is God by Himself. It has pleased God to sustain the season of ingathering over us and we are grateful. Our text is from John 7:37–39 Read the rest of this entry

Your Response

Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” (NIV)

We will kick-off today’s devotional with the final thought from yesterday. Which is, until you learn how to serve someone else’s dream, you do not qualify to be part of that great dream that you think is yours. When Joseph was going about his dream, he ended up in the pit. Whose Dream?

Gen.45:5&8 “But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives… So it was God who sent me here, not you! And he is the one who made me an adviser to Pharaoh…”

When Joseph had a dream, all he could see was – him, his dream, and himself. But by the time Joseph matured through the purity of the prison, the mentorship of the tormentor, he realized that it was God’s dream after all. Can you see what God did? He showed Joseph the immaturity of his heart at the time. Read the rest of this entry

Why?

Ps.23:3 “He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honour to his name.”

Why do we do the things we do? It is all for God’s glory. Why will God set a table for you in the presence of your enemies? It is all, all for God’s glory. So that when you are feasting and singing praises to God, and they ask, ‘Which God are you praising?’ You will respond, ‘My Jesus!’ Isn’t that beautiful? Read the rest of this entry

His Praise

Ps.104:31 “May the glory of the Lord continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all he has made!”

What price are you willing to pay so that you can live like few will? One of my colleagues said, ‘Your neck is growing thinner and thinner, what is going on?’ I said, ‘We are fasting’ and the look on her face was, is it not the same fast all of us are doing? The key thing is, the price you are willing to embrace, the sacrifice you are willing to embrace is what will separate you from the pack. God is taking you on an uncommon path because of the uncommon dream that He has for you. You have to embrace your path; you have to embrace your own story. It is not according to the books, but it is your story, and it is for God’s glory.

God’s dream for you is a good dream and it is a journey of uncommon paths. And on this journey, we encounter things like the prison and other things that we perceive as torment. But could it be that God wants to use the things that torment us to mentor us? Read the rest of this entry

The Journey

Ps.66:10-12 “He trained us first, passed us like silver through refining fires, brought us into hardscrabble country, pushed us to our very limit, road-tested us inside and out, took us to hell and back; Finally he brought us to this well-watered place.” (MSG)

For us that are in the New Covenant, the uncommon dream that God has for us, the God-sized dream that God has for us will take us on a journey of uncommon paths. The path that God is taking you through is not the path your brothers took. It is not the path that your sisters took. Read the rest of this entry

Glory Road

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!”

The second thing about God’s dream for you is, God’s Dream Will Take You On A Journey Of Uncommon Paths. Please read Genesis 3945. It is the story of Joseph. God’s dream will take you on a journey of uncommon paths. Read the rest of this entry
