Tell Someone Else

‘David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? …What David said was overhead and reported to Saul, and Saul sent for him’ 1 Sam.17:26 &31 [NIV]

Be a wise visionary and tell your vision to the right people. He then turned away to someone else and brought up the same matter, and the men answered him as before’ 1 Sam.17:30 [NIV]. Was it that David didn’t hear the first time? You meet an opposition in your vision, maybe you shared it with your brother or sister and you are discouraged. They discouraged you and you just want to sit down there? Just move on to the next person and tell them about your vision. Somebody does not buy into your vision, big deal! Let them walk. Just go to the next person and tell them about the vision. I was speaking with a Pastor friend and apparently he had a problem with some of his people. I said to him, some of your people would not believe you; it is as simple as that. You have to be able to live with that as a leader because it does not matter. There was a time we wanted to start up fifty video centers in house fellowships. We bought DVD’s and we even bought generators for the host centers so that if there is a black out, they have back up power. One of my people came to the office and said, “Pastor, this thing cannot work. It does not make sense”. When I narrated this story to my friend that I spoke of earlier, he was eager to know how I handled it because he said if it were him, he would be furious. My response to the person that said the project wouldn’t work was “Really?” and I went to tell someone else about the vision. Just ignore Eliab. When the video centers materialized, the same person said he did not know this thing would work.

You want to start a business and somebody has discouraged you, it could even be your father that has discouraged you. And you sit down there sulking? Get up and tell somebody else. Guess what, before long more people will believe in your vision. Before long the people that need to talk about it in places where you can’t get to will begin to talk about it in places where you can’t get to. Before long the Sauls will say please come and make the vision happen. If you are being discouraged about your dream, ignore them and tell someone else. I am prophesying to you today that every Saul in authority that can help you achieve your vision and that needs to hear about it will begin to hear about it beginning from today, in the mighty Name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, make me a solution to my generation, let the Sauls have no rest until they seek me out and connect me with my next level, in Jesus Name.
