The Key

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” Phil.2:9-10

The key to Jesus’ Lordship entering your life and subduing every other power is in this scripture. “…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow”. It is simple, every knee should bow – yours first. The bowing of the knees must begin with you. You have to be willing to bow your knees to Jesus first. If you refuse to bow your knees to Jesus, the things that are subject to Jesus will not be subject to you. Does that make sense? But as soon as you subject yourself to Jesus and bow your knees to Jesus, the things that are subject to Jesus will become subject to you. What areas are you praying that Jesus will be Lord over in your life? If you are thinking like me, I think it is safe to say every area, right? It simply means that you and I need to be willing to bow our knees to Jesus in every area of our lives. Beyond that, we need to move from just a willing heart, to action. What areas have you been experiencing defeat? Simply bow your knees to Jesus in those areas and you will begin to experience victory, in Jesus Name. Financially, bowing your knees to Jesus could mean for some people, beginning to tithe. And because the devourers are subject to God, then they will become subject to you as soon as you bow your knees and tithe. Stay beneath the things that God has placed above you, so that you can stay above the things that God has placed beneath you. Let me rephrase this in light of the Lordship of Jesus, bow your knees to Jesus so that the things that are subject to Jesus will become subject to you. And these things include, things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Are you ready to take control of your destiny in Jesus? Guess what? It all starts with something as simple as bowing your knees to Jesus. Simple! Yet, completely life defining. Isn’t it just so amazing how God requires us to do the simplest of things and yet the spiritual impact is totally mind blowing. The key to demonic influences and links to your life being broken is in bowing your knees to Jesus. If you are reading this today and your knees are not yet bowed to Jesus, understand that Jesus cannot be Lord over your life until you bow your knees. Jesus is standing right beside you and He is waiting to establish His Lordship over your life. So cry out to God now and bow your knees to Jesus. And according to the unfailing Word of God, all those things that have been harassing you, will bow to you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, as I bow my knees to You, everything that is subject to Jesus, beginning from today will be subject to me, in Jesus Name.
